a few of us have accounts. mine's in the sig (it's pretty sad, but i'll make it better soon!)

I try to take good photos, but my camera's crap.

My camera doesn't have a fast shutter speed.

Usually the pretty things that I want to take pictures of move.

Edit: And Ray's Flickr account is just screenshots that show that he's been talking about weiners. :dozey:

One site that can be useful over time is http://www.dpchallenge.com/index.php; basic idea is each week a photo challenge is set that and then people submit their shots. Everyone then gets to vote on all the entiresand comment on the photos.

It's really interesting.

This is the website of one of my art heroes:

http://www.wider-than-pictures.com/

His name is Sean McCabe. He isnt tecnically a photographer, more of like graphic designer...but he pretty much taught himself photography(and its AMAZING:stunned:)He has done a lot of work on cd covers(Interpol, one of em!) OMG im just totally in love with his work.

found this site with some nice pics

http://www.jeremyharris.com/detected.php?page=&pass=

^ i know just makes you want to be there lol.

thank you for the sites everyone, been very busy and haven't had a chance to check them out or log on to coldplaying as much. but be sure i'll check them out.

now Floria Sigismondi is technically a music video director but she has done some photography which is weired to say the least-and started off as a fashion photographer-

http://www.floriasigismondi.com/

She directed the Incubus- Megalomaniac, The White Stripes- Blue Orchid, Sigure Ros - Untitled 1 music videos.

i really like the dark mood she brings to her works.

<<<<<<<<< that's her on my avi

^:stunned:

She's very skilled! Wow, I love how she can make something look very dark and scary but at the same time very eye popping. The color editing she does is fantastic! Im in awe.

The last one in her photography section looks very Silent Hill-y to me:wreck:

I love the Megalomaniac vid and the Sigur Ros vid...I had no idea it was her:stunned:

I've always loved her music videos so very much! Gonna check out her site right now, thanks for the link :wink2:

^ Those on there are amazing. They kept me on here for a long time! Impressive stuff. Cheers for the shout out!

http://www.angelcurls.deviantart.com I just love her style and how she makes 'ugly' things look beautiful.

wow i like- she doesn't try to dress it up its nice and simple looking- i.e not too much clutter in the photography.

it seems like she captures time, seeing her photos for some reason i feel at peace and even though most of the figures seem like they're in a lonely landscape its not fear but of peaceful loneliness.

very slick and modern! you can really see the graphic designer shinning through which is great adds another dimension to the photography.

i love the pic where the couple are kissing on a park bench while on the oppostie end a man is reading a newspaper and the lady next to him is looking at the viewer kind of (exasperated, bewildered) like she want's to do like the kissing couple and kiss the newspaper guy lol.
