Religious leader linked to Bush 'paid for sex with male body-builder'

So I was right all along. Told you!:smug:

Yes, but your way of finding it out was wrong and shouldnt be used most the time. Occasionally gossip will be right, but you cannot rely on that for passing judgement. This time you were right, but you believed it without any evidence, just hear-say.

That was my problem all along, not if it was true or not, i said it could be but your way of belieiving it, relying on one persons side with no evidence or facts. Its foolish to rely on hear-say to pass judgement. If i were to be like you, i'd believe all the crap i hear about you on here....You cant go through life making decisions on what one person says without any facts or evidence.

I didn't read all of that, but.. I find it incredibly funny. In Austria, we've had so many sex scandals with serious bishops in high positions! They preach so many things, and then end up in tabloids like this.. Don't even know what to say about that :P

That's exactly why I was convinced it was true. There have been so many similar instances in the past!!;)

That just makes you ignorant. You cannot pass judgement because of others doing something.

For now on Mark, im going to view the world like you. every thing i hear about you, im going to believe without any doubt.

You can believe whatever you like. I have nothing to hide and I'm not being hypocritical like your pastor "friend".

Friend? Iam no friend of his, nor a supporter, i never did even like him. I just said wait til we have facts and evidence and know whats going on BEFORE passing judgement. Its the intelligent and moral thing to do. You cannot judge others by rumors you hear about them, its ignorant and just plain stupid.;)

It wasn't just rumour. The radio station and newspaper were obviously convinced they had enough evidence. It would have been to risky otherwise.

Once again, there was no smoke without fire!!

They had no facts or evidence. Alot People are convinced you're retarded, YET does that make it true? NO. You're belieing rumors and following the crowd, 2 very dumb things.

There can be smoke without a fire, its has happened before, people been accused of something, and the majority thought they were guilty then its been disproven they were. So to think there is always fire where there is smoke is ignorant.

Like i said dont follow the crowd and rumors to pass judgement, wait for facts and evidence not what the majority's opinion is. Remember the majority thought Bush was going ot be a good president so they re-elected him...;)

Im saying a few key things. what is popular is not always right/just because the majority believe does not make it true.

and do not rely on rumors or hear-say for evidence or to pass judgement, wait for facts and evidence. You are doing none of those things. Its pure ignorance.

If this guy had no connections to Bush, would this be news?

I'm sorry to interfere, but I have to agree with mc_squared!

mrcool, you're not "fair" or "objective", you are just being naive!

mrcool, you're not "fair" or "objective", you are just being naive!

HOw so? im saying before making judgement on ANYTHING wait for solid facts and evidence...that is fair

i personaly have and do believe the guy had gay sex, but i cannot say for sure or pass judgement without any hard facts or evidence

what is naive is to let personal feeling and rumors get in the way and cause you to pass judgement without knowing ANY facts. that is unfair and naive, waiting for all the info IS fair.

Basically, innocent til proven guilty, that is extremly fair. its is ignorant and naive to judge based on rumors.

PS its not being objective to pass judgement based on no facts just hear-say;)

Objective

3 a : expressing or dealing with facts or conditions as perceived without distortion by personal feelings, prejudices, or interpretations

that is EXACTLY what i am. and not what mark is doing.

Fair

6 a : marked by impartiality and honesty : free from self-interest, prejudice, or favoritism

Im not passing judgement to either side, im not saying for a fact he IS guilty or he IS innocent, thus that is being fair.

I suggest you learn what fair and objective is.

^You're taking things way too seriously. This guy has behaved improperly, and now he has to accept the repercussions. End of story.

No, you base your facts on hear say rumors. I dont give a rats ass about the story, this isnt about that. Its about the fact you dont rely on facts or evidence but hear say and what others say they believe. Ive thought this dude was guilty, but i did not ever believe it to be 100% fact until i saw some evidence.

And blinkered. ;)

People like your are dangerous. People like you in power are deadly. I just hate people who dont make up their minds on facts and evidence or atleast logic not hear-say. People who rely on their biased beliefs instead of anything solid.

Neither did I. I was just running with the article............................. ;)

since you've posted it, based on a rumor, you've treated it as 100% fact. that is dumb.

Completely wrong. It's the people in power such as him that are the problem, and who need to be exposed for the charlatans they are.;)

Respect should be paid to the guy who put a stop to him, if you ask me.

No more than the writers of the article, who obviously felt there was enough evidence to warrant publication.;)

He's not in power.

People who only pass judgement based on hear=say are the trouble along with hypocrites. Throughout human history people have been killed just because of another persons word against them without any evidence. Its stupid to pass any kind of judgement without being fair and having facts.

The evidence being he was ACCUSED. his evidence was hear-say with no facts. useless
