It may have been true THIS time, but the majority of times it is not, thus not ok. Im sure hitler killed a few people that were bad for Germany in his massive genocide, but how many innocent fell victim for rumors that were false? too many, the same thing happens in cases like this, it may not always be life or death but peoples lives can be ruined by people like YOU, who judge on stereotypes and hear=say without evidence.

 

If you believe all the crap you hear about people, every once and awhile some of it will be right, but the majority of the time no. This isnt about this preacher, this is about ignorant people judging based on stereotypes and rumors. i cant stand it when people do that, its no different then when someone see's a muslim and thinks they are a terrorist or see's a republican and thinks they are corrupt, or see's a black guy and think he's poor..its dumb and most of the time FALSE.

Dispite Mike Jones saying he had sex with 'Pastor Ted' I don't know if he had sex with Mr. Jones or not - but he seems pretty sure within himself that he has disgraced and caused shame and embarrassment for his Evangelical buddies at the New Life Church.

You see the outcome not the means of finding it out. Im saying dont judge until til the facts. Believing rumors was cool in school and you could use that as fact, but here in the real world its just ignorant. Thats what ive been argueing about, not about him being guilty or innocent, but being fair and relying on FACTS AND EVIDENCE not HEAR-SAY. Innocent until proven guilty, not guilty because i heard a rumor.

 

Judgeing based on rumors is wrong and well stupid. This is kid stuff, im sure your parents tried to teach you this simple life lesson.

Well anyone in a position of direct influence over a lot of people. School administrators need to be very careful what they do "behind the scenes" too, yes, as they need to set an example to the pupils.

That's prejudice. This isn't. People like this guy need to be exposed for the good of humanity, and sometimes you need newspapers or radio stations to step up to the plate, as they did in this case.

And as I said before, they wouldn't have gone ahead if they hadn't felt the claims could be substantiated.
