If you want a bright acoustic sound with minimal bass I woud recommend these strings

After stringing them into my acoustic I'm very satisfied with the sound; the bottom 3 strings are almost a sort of harpischord sound the top 2 are nothing special though. Apparently they are coated in something that stops them from rusting and snapping.

Yea. I have those in 12 gauge (i wanted them lighter but they didn't have them) they're really good. Guitar Center told me those were the best for acoustic. They're rigged on my Seagull S6 and they sound real nice.

HAH, extra strong my ass. The G string just snapped clean when I was tuning it back up from 1 1/2 steps down.
