started to learn it on my own but kindo of didn't continue, all i learnt was le rue ( he road), sortie (exit), C'est le bastille ( where is the bastille),

and that the 'r's come from back of the throat unlike spanish where they come from tip of tongue.

because, somehow, I ended up working/living in the french speaking part of switzerland... :D

 

Quelle heure est-il... (what time is it)

J'ai une question: est-ce qu'il y a un mot: mechanicienne? ou on dit: une femme mechanicien?

i hated it at school. i've nothing against the language but its grammar sucks, its so damn hard to learn.

J'étais bon à lui à l'école, mais nous jamais n'importe quelle conversation.

Yeah, that's true.

Even for french ppl it's not that easy.

There're those damn "é" "è" "à" and so on...

 

And the tenses... in English to say sth in the past you have few ways to do so...

In french you have at least 6 ways to do it...

Isn't it like that with every language ? I had a hard time with german actually. With the nominatif, datif and things like that ...

^And when you've to think where to put the verb in the "dass"/"weil" sentences and so on...

yup, I never got a whole sentence right in german actually ... darn i sucked :P

i definatly agree! my third year of french and I still can't get the hang of it:thinking:
