I don't really follow basketball that closely, I just do fantasy stuff. But the Nuggets are my team.

I`d like Denver to advance to the next round (all because AI). This year may be the Suns will finally win it but I don`t like them at all . I don`t like Cavs (I hate LeBron) also so for me (as 76ers fan) doesn`t matter who will win it just not these two.

Sorry that`s how it is... I don`t like Steve Nash`s fake smile and Amare`s reaction after each basket like: "Who`s the best now". I don`t deny they are a great team though! I just don`t like them :dozey: Shawn Marion cannot play a good bball without S.Nash he only scored 15-20 per game when Nash had an injury. And the only one I liked: Quentin Richardson is playing for the Kniks now.

Well if you like the Knicks then I can forgive the dislike of Steve Nash (who is one of my favourite players).

Knicks are a strange team... Thay have WONDERFUL players on their roster and they had Larry Brown but I guess there was no chemistry going on. Look at them now: S. Marbury, J. Crawford, Q. Richardson, E. Curry, S. Francis, they can make an All-Star team all by themselfs but something is missing there and I don`t quite know what it is. I`m not a HUUUGE fan of them but I see a lot of potential ;) My favourite team are the 76ers :smug: Sadly, no playoffs for our teams this year :\

Pistons @ Magic: 93-77 (Detroit leads best of 7 3-0)

Rockets @ Jazz: 67-81 (Rockets lead best of 7 2-1) The Rockets had a total of 25 points during the 3rd and the 4th quarter (10 and 15 respectively). They commited also 19 Turnovers (T-Mac and Yao combined for 12 TO allthough they scored a total of 50 points in the game).

Suns took an early advantage over the Lakers for their first game in LA but just now the Lakers are on the run and narrowed the gap to 7 points (1st quarter finished 31-17 lead for the Suns)

EDIT: Lakers won 95-89! Bryant scored 45 on a 15-26 shooting

A hell of a playoffs this year: Chicago defeated Miami 4:0, Golden State have a 3-1 lead over the Mavs... :uhoh2:

Its not suprising that Chicago won, but a sweep was a bit weird. Golden State is just rediculous.

i'm a basketball fan, but lets face it, the nba sucks

There are few things that I don`t like in the NBA and on of them is that they reffer to the NBA champion as a "world champion". I mean (no offence) USA stopped being the leader in world basketball some time ago. Yet the NBA presents the most attractive professional bball (And1 are cool but they are not professionalists) with without doubt the best bball players in the world so I cannot see why you dislike em...

The picture looks much clearer now.

 

And, the World Champions is perhaps an unfair name to call the playoff winners, but it goes without saying that on a club level stage, the NBA champions can beat any club team over the world. If your team is the NBA Champions, you're the best team in the world.

 

On an international stage, it is different story for sure, but I think that's not how it should be. The USA has the talent to beat anyone, anywhere, anytime. How it doesn't work is just amazing.
