June 19, 200719 yr Wow!!!!! I really love the new site!!!! Specially when Chris said "P.S: go to Buenos Aires a.s.a.p" of course... Anyway, I think it´s a more personal site, and I really like it
June 19, 200719 yr All this new stuff is gettin me very excited about them again and the new album!!Not that im never excited about Coldplay. But i love the whole anticipation leading up to the new album and hearing new songs for the first time!!
June 19, 200719 yr With this new website, signed merchandise in the shop, the Christmas video, the return of Phil Harvey (???!!!!!!), and the building of a new studio, it's as if Coldplay is not only down-sizing and returning to their more personal, subdued roots, but also as if they manage themselves. I mean... everything about the website is their doing. Yeah sure, they had techno-geek people to help them put it up, but the band themselves are updating this site. God this is so cool. All the signs are very good. I'm excited.
June 20, 200719 yr i´m super-excited too!! :D when i saw everything hand written i couldnt belive it...it´s like the diaries they used to have in their very old website, that were written by them, though this is even better and more personal... only one thing, the site will change again, or will have more sections after the album comes, right? or is the q&a gone for good? because i thought that was a good thing of the site...
June 20, 200719 yr Mmm my avatar is from a Coldplaying's post... http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2071933&postcount=69 :smug:
June 20, 200719 yr Hahahahaha.... Cute! Who do you think the one with the glasses? Wait, I think it's Will. :D
June 20, 200719 yr Hahaha, yes... ----- Coldplay Studio diary entry 20/04/2007: The control room is tiny. Literally smaller than my bedroom. The live room isn't much bigger. About the size of the rehearsal room we used to have pre-record deal. Brian Eno sits behind his laptop towards the back of the control room. A benevolent schoolmaster with the unquestioning respet of his charges. When he speaks, we listen. Markus Dravg [sp] prowls around the room like a big cat in a zoo. A heavyweight boxer with a paintbrush. Two very different people, both equally formidable. Together Brian and Markus have introduced a sense of discipline that never existed in previous album sessions. The atmosphere is tense and urgent. I've never seen the band so willing to be led, to be pushed. Chris just burst into my little room upstairs at the studio. He's been working on lyrics. Much more abstract, much more visual than before. This is reflected in the music too: less straightforwards, more oblique. There's a long way to go, but the initial auspices are good. Prospekt.
June 20, 200719 yr yeah i was wondering who or what prospekt refers to There's a thread called Prospekt on the forum about this. It could be Phil.
