i heard that this song was a brian eno song. (the song that plays a minute before politik, the atmosphere song when they are walking on...) does anyone know the name of this song??? thanks!!

Are you talking about the organ-ey sound playing when the band is stepping on stage? I didn't think that was an actual song, just something Coldplay came up with as a neat opener.

That opening for 'Spies' is awesome! I love the "duh-duh" of the drums, and the guitar kicking in. :D

Quick question...

 

At the show on June 13th at Madison Square Garden, the Brian Eno song was played prior to the band taking the stage...the song that immediately preceded Politik sounded just a bit different, as it does on the recordings I have from Earl's Court, Lisbon, Atlanta and Pittsburgh...

 

Is it a different song, or is it that they've re-recorded it in a lower-key/pitch than the Eno recording?

i am pretty sure it is, i think they just slow it down or change the pitch to hold the crowd over while we are waiting. its a great song though anyway. its on the 28 days later trailer and commercials, SO EERIE!!!

Ah Yeh, i have that track....but, i slowed it down, and changed the pitch and Everything...and the chords just aren't the same....
