No snow patrol please.. It's a good band, but i'm convinced that coldplay still will have their own sound :)

well if Chris plays piano for songs...just i want to have Chris and piano in the album..i think that its incomplete without Chris Piano....

and i hope he really wrote some of the best songs ever this time..

hmm.. I don't want to imagine Coldplay with beats like that. Or with a beat like in Innocence by Björk. Not that it's a bad song... it just wouldn't fit Coldplay to have anything like that. :thinking:

Well at least it makes mention of piano. That kills my fears of there being no piano in the new album, which is what Chris said a while back.

I dont know if this is good news. I understand that artists need to explore their music and allow it to grow, but I just love Coldplay the way they are and I dont know if I want them to change.

as long as they come out still sounding like coldplay....meaning the emotions, riffs, bass lines, drum patterns......all of that as long as they still sound like themselves and not a copy of anything else

The question is, how much can Coldplay change? They can't change. I mean they are what they are! Of course it will be different, because it isn't the same. It will be new and often the term 'new' is mistaken as 'different'. But these words are not the same. I think Coldplay is probably trying out new things and hoping it won't all sound the exact way. Besides, you hear most people complain that all Coldplay songs sound the same... (grr...grumble...hiss, boo critics!) My guess is that they maybe got tired of hearing that, lol.

 

But I don't think they'll change much. You can't change the way they play their instruments or how Chris sings. Whatever the 4th album will be like, it most certainly will NOT be a disappointment. :)
