We're spicing things up for The $1.36 Campaign and holding a raffle! The prize is a sealed, unopened limited edition 7" vinyl-only Coldplay Singles (1999-2006) Boxset (Coldplay.com: "Featuring 14 releases across 15 heavyweight 7", packaged in original artwork and housed in a presentation box, this collection also features a number of singles never released on 7 inch vinyl before, including the rarity ‘The Blue Room EP’." ~ full tracklisting)

 

Buy a $10.00 USD raffle ticket for your chance to win this true collectors item for only the faction of the total face value! All funds raised through the raffle will go to the CCC's flagship charity project, The $1.36 Campaign, to benefit Coldplaying's sponsored child, Zali. You could win, and Zali wins either way. ;)

IMPORTANT RAFFLE RULES

1. Each ticket will cost $10.00 USD.* A person may purchase a maximum of 10 tickets.
   
2. Tickets can be purchased by donating $10.00+ USD to The $1.36 Campaign via PayPal** (information thread; donation page). (Donations of $10.00 to The $1.36 Campaign during the Raffle months will automatically earn contributor entry into the drawing). Multiple tickets may be purchased at once by donating multiples of $10 - i.e. $20.00 will earn you two tickets. IMPORTANT: When donating via PayPal, please provide a valid e-mail address!
   
3. Tickets may also be purchased by sending in a money order to lunar1126 or victaniac. E-mail coldplaying.for.charity[at]gmail.com for more information.
   
4. An e-mail receipt, containing a ticket stub number, will be mailed to all who purchase raffle tickets (please wait up to 24 hours to receive this email). SAVE this number for winner confirmation!!
   
5. The raffle prize is an unopened Coldplay "Singles 1999-2006" 7" Vinyl Boxset generously donated for raffle by texasluvsjonny.
   
6. Raffle proceeds will go towards The $1.36 Campaign to benefit Coldplaying.com's sponsored child, Zali. A small amount of the proceeds will pay for prize shipping to raffle winner.
   
7. Tickets must be purchased between July 1, 2007 (00:00 GMT) and August 31, 2007 (00:00 GMT) to be valid.
   
8. Raffle drawing will be held on September 1, 2007. If a sufficient number of tickets have not been sold by August 31, 2007, an alternate drawing date will be held September 15, 2007.
   
9. Winner will be determined by random drawing. Drawing will be conducted by lunar1126 and victaniac using this random number generator to ensure unbiased results.
   
10. Winner will be notified by e-mail and PM (if applicable).
    
11. Raffle winner has (15) days from the Raffle drawing date to send a confirmation return e-mail, otherwise an alternate winner will be selected.
    
12. Winner must provide his/her Raffle ticket stub number in order to claim the prize, and must be willing to provide a current delivery address. Delivery costs are covered by Raffle proceeds.
    
13. To request additional information about raffle ticket purchase, raffle prize, or the raffle drawing itself, you may send a PM to lunar1126 or victaniac, or email coldplaying.for.charity[at]gmail.com.

Raffle deadline has been extended to September 14th, 2007 so that you ALL can get your ticket(s) in time. Since we haven't had as many people buy tickets as anticipated, I will say that current ticket holders have a good shot at winning the prize.

After careful deliberation, we (the CCC mods) have decided to extend the deadline for 1 week further. We understand that this is unfair to those who have already bought tickets, and we sincerely apologize. However, we've been sorely disappointed with the meager number of tickets sold (considering the prize and the reason for the raffle). In the upcoming week, we hope to promote more interest in an attempt raise more money for Save the Children and Zali. We hope you understand. For those of you who were considering buying a ticket, it's not too late. This is your last chance. The new and final deadline is September 22nd, 2007.
