I totally get what you're going through. I've gone through this stuff quite a bit, too. Like you were saying that your friend was going to introduce the two of you, that usually works. If not, you could just try bumping into him and try to start a conversation or something. Either way, I really hope that this works out for you. Don't give up so soon. Keep us posted. =)

well, grace, when i started to go out with felix last year, i also thought i'd be abroad for several months this year :rolleyes:

we both chose the same english course and none of us got in.

And no matter what your origins (crossbreed is for plants and animals and you're certainly not one of them!) are, it's your soul that counts. and if that guy can't find you good enough for him ... well, it's his loss anyway. I suggest you to try and don't give up quickly, you know, things that are worth it, aren't easy to achieve. ;)

I can't say that I know what you're feeling like... it must be strange a bit. :confused: but i suppose that you just have to be around right people, if they aren't, for example, it's easy to feel like a stranger wherever you are. :\
