Are you left handed???

Featured Replies

i'm left-handed, too. i like the way i am, but it's annoying sometimes when i write and write and smudge everything that i've written.

can you believe that i'm right handed (for writing) and sometimes my writing is not so good, and it get smudged too...

btw my best from from school was left-handed, and we used to sat together... and when writing our elbows used to hit each other... people told us to change our seats but we didn't wanted to, and we get used to it..

yup, the same was with me and my best friend in primary school :D we were always hitting each other's elbows! :laugh4:

I would be left handed, but I don't have a left hand :P

oh i would feel the same... :( that's so bad...

a friend is also left handed but her grandma forced her to learn to write with her right hand, and she ended up been able to write with both hands, and when we ask her if she is right or left handed she don't know what to answer...

sometimes when I arrive late to uni I have to sit in those left handed sits and it feels so weird :uhoh:

just a random thought

That was the way people got taught in the olden days, to use their right hand, even if they were left handed.

So what do you have? A hook?

that's how it is if you're a lefty sitting in a conference room with tables and chairs designed for righties. ;) :P

That was the way people got taught in the olden days' date=' to use their right hand, even if they were left handed.[/quote'] yes, my mom was treated like that. When she was young they tied her left hand on the back of her back or chair and they forced her to write with her right hand. With no excuses. And even when I was born they thought I was ill or something because I stretched my left hand to a ringing bell and not the right one.

ROFL :D

lol i'm the only one here, whose relatives expected to be left-handed?...

as i had a problem on my right shoulder when i was born... even doctors said that (i've seen the documents), they say something like "don't draws well with her right hand, probably will be left handed" .... i was like 3 years when they said that.... who draws well with 3 years old, don't mind which hand with?

:uhoh:

i'm sorry for that eglantine :( that's sad the thing that some people has done to some left-handed... :(

btw sorry but i don't know/remember your name eglantine :embarassed:

My name's Nina. :)

Yeah, people are strange. Esp. the doctors who say to a 3-year-old that (s)he can't draw well with one hand. Come on, get a life and observe children not just the hand the pen is in!! :veryangry: I'm sorry that a thing like that happened to you, Ari. Those doctors should be punched.

nice to meet you Nina ;)

well it was said to my parents...

oh well i'm left handed for some things, so they are not so mistaken, but not for writing.

lol as i had to go to doctor revision each year for the shoulder problem, so i had always to draw a house, lol i got bored of doing it each year, i even remember that the last 2 years i said to the doctor if i could draw a different kind of house, or something different lol...

i hadn't had so good experiences with doctors but...

That thing about drawing a house each time sounds like being at a thousand eye-checks looking at the same letters and numbers each time. You get bored after awhile :D

probably it was just one bad experience, usually they aren't bad, though you never know these days...

really i haven't had so good experiences but i go there each time i feel ill.. my dad says that sometimes i'm a bit hypocondriac.. :uhoh: ...

yes i got too bored.... the few good memories that i have of that time and related with hospitals and stuff, that once they gave me a box with lots of sweets, candies.. :nice: as i didn't cried or shouted during the proof... (they had to take blood to analyse) and most lil kids use to be afraid of needles..

btw for one of the things that i'm left-handed is to comb my hair.

I can't remember the last time I have seen my doctor.

I have been to the hospital a couple times to get my injections.
