Ron Paul for President 2008

Featured Replies

Here's some news for the scoffers and the establishment talking heads who have engaged in a propaganda assault to try and hoodwink Americans into thinking Paul is not a frontrunner - $4.2+ million doesn't grow on trees and it isn't plucked out of cyberspace without real people being behind it.

1024x768ry5.jpg

The concept for the November 5th "money bomb" which was responsible for the surge in donations yesterday originates from the movie V For Vendetta, the 2005 cult dystopian hit which grasped the imaginations of many with its extreme relevance to modern day politics in America. It was organized in large part through a specially constructed website at http://www.thisnovember5th.com/

More than $4.2 Million in one day! Why Ron Paul's Message is Winning

Yesterday, the Ron Paul for president campaign raised $4.2 million dollars from its grassroots supporters. 37,000 of them gave an average of $129 each to the campaign, inspired by the movie "V for Vendetta" (Remember, Remember, the 5th of November!).

This is completely unprecedented in politics! The only candidate in history to raise more than this in one day was John Kerry in September, 2004, who raised $5 million the day he accepted the democratic nomination. The huge difference was that most of the Kerry money was from the corporate elite, not $100 donations from average Joe voter!

The pundits will be out trying to make sense of this phenomenon today, including the neocon radio talk show hosts. They will make up crazy conspiracies like "it must be the Clintons donating!" and they will try to come up with excuses like "well these aren't republicans who are donating anyway". They will put forth the media-spun poll numbers and claim "Ron Paul is not a factor anyway, he's only polling at 3%!" (which even if you take these land line polls seriously, is wrong: he's at 5% in the latest CNN poll).

The real question is, why is this man and his ideas so popular?

It's not an easy question, and there certainly is no sound byte answer here! Here's a quick overview to explain the $4.2 million in one day:

1. A large percentage of Americans actually agree with Ron Paul's ideas regarding freedom and liberty, which no other candidate is discussing, i.e., Paul would put an end to the Patriot Act.

2. Ron Paul is anti-establishment and anti-status quo. Even today, Americans have an inherent tendency to go against authority, or as some might say, a rebellious streak. Ron Paul represents this like no other candidate.

3. There are actually millions of libertarians in the U.S. who have been sitting on the sidelines in the past few presidential elections. Ron Paul coming on to the national spotlight has given them hope that they haven't had in a long time. In the past, libertarians running in the Libertarian party would be lucky to get 1% of the vote, most did not even do that well. Now, we have a candidate who has 1,100 Meetup groups with 70,000 members, growing by the day!

4. Many feel that NOW is the time for real change in D.C., and voting for a democrat is really not going to make a whole lot of difference from what we have now- most of the democrats will keep the war and military-industrial complex alive, while taking more of your money in the process. Other GOP candidates offer either more of the same, unpopular G.W. Bush policies, or even want to take it a step further and get us involved in a nuclear World War III!

5. Ron Paul is the only true anti-war candidate from either two of the major parties, and 70+% are now against the war.

6. Ron Paul is clearly not running for president to "take power", in fact, he is a reluctant candidate who wants to take the power AWAY from the federal government. Everyone else running is going to "run the country", Ron Paul wants the people themselves to run it.

I could probably list a dozen or so more reasons why Ron Paul is exploding in popularity, but I have to go work and make some fiat dollars in what is left of the free market in the U.S.!

Ron Paul wants us to go back to the 1800's and be an agricultural isolationist nation....he wants to do away with most of our social programs for the poor and elderly....he would do away with social security. so basically old people are just kinda left to eat dog food.. anti-establishment is a horrible idea. people need governmental help. Just because you are pro establishment doesnt mean you agree with the Patriot act, and the government up in your business.

Pual wants to get rid of just about every government agencies.....some of them are the Internal Revenue service, Department of Education, Department of Homeland security, Department of Energy, Intersate Commerce commission, the Federal Emergency management Administration, etc....

he votes against just about ANY government spending...no matter what it is on....he is STAUNCHLY anti abortion and would illegalize it everywhere. he said he would look to overturn Roe vs Wade.. He voted for the Secure Fence act which immediately makes him stupid.....A WALL IS NOT GOING TO STOP ILLEGALS!!! he opposes amnesty of any kind AND birthright citizenship..

He wants us to withdraw from Nato and the United Nations.....to basically just chill by ourselves....NO foreign intervention of ANY kind ever...

When i first heard about him i did a little research, since i agreed with the points i heard him make...they involved his opposition to the Patriot act, the national ID, torture, and his voting against the Iraq war....but i found that this guy would be extremely bad for the country. Plus even if he was elected, he is so far away from either of the two parties that he would have a HUGE problem getting anything passed through Congress....

Sorry. But you throw a lot of stuff out there but your comprehension of the matters are lacking.

The way you have written about which agencies Ron Paul wants to reform is ridiculous. I don't mean to sound horrible to (honestly) but you are implying that he's simply going to disband them and not make efforts to put any new ways to deal with such sectors. Why would you do that? It's just not true.

He wants to cut government spending...sure....because you are nine trillion dollars in debt as a nation. The FED is literally screwing you over big style - they print dollars while you don't have the means to back it up. Your dollar going to fall of the chart my friend.

Plus The Federal Reserve is a private bank run by unelected officials who are not required to be open or accountable to “we the people.”

You should be stomping mad about the current private banks selling your infrastructure out from under your feet.

Huge company's have came in and lobbied your officials, paid them off, and now you have a Spanish company owning your major highways - which have already been bought and paid for by you guys, the American tax payers, but they are then going to TOLL them. And already are. Hmmm. That's very wrong.

You should want to get out of the UN!! Until you understand realise that then you shouldn't put it down as a bad point!! Paul really wants to work with other countries but the UN was set up with very bad intentions. (you don't want a world government)

Paul is anti abortion, sure, a lot of people are.....but he's for leaving it up to the states and to keep the federal government out of that matter. Just like with gay 'marriage' ^ - which he also will leave up to the state. My understanding is that becuase marriage is a religious ceremony it makes sense for gays to not get 'married' as such but having a seperate partnership would be normal, right? I'm not religious at all - but I have several gay friends who find gay marrige nonsensical due to it being a religious affair - which counts them out.

He's anti NAU too which is truly awesome.

And yes, that Secure border fence will not help stop illegals because the current administration isn't even building it....it was a fake gesture by the current lairs in power.

Ron Paul is dedicated to help young people get out off welfare and not just shut it down immediately - but work towards a better solution.

He's for defence of your country but defence in the true sense of the word. Not picking fights and setting up fake wars so that the private interest groups that have hijacked your country can make billions from weapons/base sales in foreign countries.

He follows your constitution and wants people to move forward with all kinds of new and wonderful ideas......not restrict any type of human growth, expression and happiness....like the other front running candidates.

Don't buy into the corporate elites spin. Just listen how they talk about him, seriously - they used such properganda to call him all sorts...all unjustly. They are always misrepresenting Ron Paul because he'd stop the disgusting lobbyists that are causing Washington DC to sell your country to the highest bidders.

Trust me, nobody is pissed off more about our country basically being sold to foreign corporations than i am.....but eliminating all these government agencies isnt really going to solve much....sure the FED is printing more money and therefor causing high inflation...but that doesnt mean they should be disbanded...And ive researched the guy, he has been quoted in saying he wanted to get rid of each of those agencies...some of them i will miss less than others of course..

We dont need a radical change to keep our dollar from plunging farther into oblivion...we need republicans OUT! look at the economy under Clinton? inlfation was at an all time low while the average joe was 40% better off financially then, versus now....

I dont think our system is broken, i believe the people that have been running it for the last 8 years are incompetent.....what is REALLY needed is a leader that is beholding to NOBODY....a leader who got elected using his own funds and does not have to give these huge kickbacks....thats why i would be a huge supporter of Unity08 if they could get Bloomberg to run...he could pay for the election himself...

Thats the thing, i agree with most of what Paul is saying, minus the stuff about immigration, abortion, social security/and other social programs.....(ie the iraq war, civil liberties, interpretation of the constitution) but i just dont agree with the way he would go about it

  • Author

Ahhhhhhhh :)

Haha, sorry.....it's just really frustrating for me!! :laugh3:

It's really hard to explain exactly what's going on in your country to you!! Now you've thrown Bloomberg into the mix! He's part of the exact same mafia style elite as Giuliani, the Bush's, the Clintons. I could write for hours but I'm just going to leave that because I'm sure information about what these people think is widespread.

Back to Ron Paul.

When Paul says he wants to "get rid of" those agencies he truly means it in a sensible way - with areas such as Education, Health, Welfare being overhauled incrementally. It's not as if welfare would but stopped immediately......it's all about the approach that would mean in the end people won't need it.

I'm really unsure that many people here (on this forum) actually know that the politics they know and hate is all a major charade. It's not about Left or Right, Republicans or Democrats.

If you think about WWE wrestling ok....bare with me here. Both sides are owned and controlled by the same person - and they have their superstars on both sides - who are hyped up and publicly duel it out to make people choose 'sides'. When in reality....the agenda has already been set.....

....and I guess the hardest part for me is talking about the people you shouldn't want to be president. If you look at who Hillary had associated herself with, which meetings she's been to and the fact that the Bush/Clinton family friendship is so close it's not funny.

I'm not saying that they have to hate each other but when big money families like that are going on vacations together - and they are calling each other second sons and daughters you must have an inkling something is up?

I know too much about the roots of all these people, all their organisations and companies - which is why it's almost impossible to convey all the factions of the whole god damn thing in a forum post.

I want everyone to find out about the CFR, the NAU, PNAC, the Bilderberg Group and at least try and gain the perspective that you wish you had all along.....the perspective that a good few people do not want you to have. It's all out there and it's the main reason why Ron Paul must win. He must get the Republican nomination because he is person who unites both sides.....he destroys that left-right paradigm bubble that the media has trapped large amount of people in.

I can't do the wider picture justice myself....

I can just do my best......and the best I can is good enough. It's all there if everyone would just pay attention.

Ok, educate yourself!!! Everyone needs to realise it's not as it seems.

I thought you were talking about Ron Jeremy to begin with :)

Now, HE would make a great president.... :)

  • Author
I thought you were talking about Ron Jeremy to begin with :)

Now, HE would make a great president.... :)

....so you read the thread title as "Ron Jeremy"??

Fair enough

Back to Ron Paul.

Think about this.....almost 40% of the people in America today were not alive the last time there wasn't a member of the Bush or Clinton family in the White House!!! That's almost 118 million Americans that has never known a time when there wasn’t a Bush or Clinton either as president or vice president.

Over the last 30 years, every single Republican presidential ticket has featured someone named Bush or Dole. Over the last 55 years, every single Republican presidential ticket except one has featured someone named Bush, Dole, or Nixon.

No more of these pre-selected, elite puppets. Ron Paul is the only person who can beat the establishments puppet runner, Hillary. And when you see the Las Vegas bookmakers agree - you know it's true!

I would vote for Ron Paul...

...but damn it I haven't got an American passport :(

If only there was a Ron Paul character in UK politics

Why Ron Paul Can Win It All

Christopher Deliso

Friday November 9, 2007

Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul’s record $4.2 million fundraiser the other day was one for the record books. Even those in the mainstream media who have been consistently ridiculing him have, however begrudgingly, had to agree with that verdict. However, Dr Paul’s spectacular success may well be only a sign of things to come, and if this turns out to be the case, then even the grumpiest of GOP resisters will have to realize that Ron Paul is the only candidate who can defeat the Democrats next year.

The media has, however, largely avoided considering future head-to-head match-ups. Largely because it’s primaries time, they have been devoting most of their efforts to nurturing the candidates that they (and their political-corporate owners) want to see nominated. First things first, right? But hold on one moment. Even with an endorsement from Pat Robertson, does Rudy Giuliani have solid enough conservative credentials to be the GOP nominee? Does Mitt Romney, for that matter? Are they capable of really firing up the conservative base? I think not.

Ron Paul, on the other hand, offers both a message and a manner that appeal strongly to traditional conservatives. He is strongly Christian, pro-life, pro-gun ownership, pro-freedom and civil liberties, while being tough on illegal immigrants and champion of a strong national defense and secured borders. He also opposes big government and public spending, generally favoring states’ rights rather than federal control. Can the alleged "front-runners" – Giuliani and Romney – boast the same package of conservative attributes, and back it up with a fastidiously consistent voting record like that of Ron Paul? I think not.

As for the latter quality, style, Ron Paul is a plain-spoken Texas country doctor, a straight-shooter who is eloquent without mincing his words, whereas Giuliani is a blowhard and a bully justifying his strengths by repeating "9/11" constantly. The American people, however, are smart enough to see through that. Romney, for his part, is not a convincing conservative, too carefully mannered and a bit foppish, just conservative enough to be elected governor of, er, Massachusetts.

Nevertheless, these alleged Republican "front-runners" believe they can defeat Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama. As the last congressional elections showed, the Republicans are now on the defensive and will need to siphon away as many votes as they possibly can to win. There are certainly opportunities here, but neither Giuliani nor Romney are convincing alternatives for left-leaning voters sick and tired of Hillary/Obama’s weaseling out of any commitment to end the war state, and for young people in general. Guess which Republican strongly appeals to these disaffected liberals? Yes, once again, it’s Ron Paul.

And herein lies the really exciting part of the Paul candidacy, and the reason I expect the $4.2 million record will be eclipsed sooner or later by another one even bigger. Unlike most politicians, Ron Paul commands real respect and admiration from a large and very diverse group of Americans, support which is growing by the day. When people believe in a candidate, they give freely and on multiple occasions. When people are merely harangued on the phone or in the mailbox because their name happens to be on a party’s list of past supporters, they give – maybe – once or twice. True, there is massive corporate largesse on the way for the likes of Hillary and Giuliani, but still, somehow, it is individuals who vote in America, not entities. It would be very interesting to do a study of what percentage of "blank slate" voters feel, once introduced to that candidate’s positions, a strong affinity with those positions. Of course, I don’t have any such data, but from reading hundreds of comments posted under web articles and blog entries, I’d be willing to bet that the victor in such a survey would be Ron Paul.

With the tremendous new publicity Ron Paul has achieved the past couple days, his message is getting out to a wider and wider audience, making his voluntary donor base larger and larger. Unlike the establishment candidates tapping into their existing lists, he is actually creating new voters. The phenomenon is self-replicating and because the message of his campaign is very appealing to so many different people, it is spread willingly and genuinely. Don’t forget that this is the post-advertising age, the age of social networks where savvy consumers no longer trust mass ads, but more often buy a product specifically on the recommendations of trusted friends. It is the same with ideological consumers in a political campaign.

Here the internet has exponentially amplified the power of what the old patrician media, self-proclaimed guardians of information and the "proper" interpretation of that information, disparagingly demeans as "grassroots support" or "an internet following." This media, and the political establishment which it serves, despises nothing more than the people, and especially the young. The worst sin of Paul supporters, for the jaded media, is that they actually believe in the man; using "passion" as a descriptor in politics is ribald to the hardened cynics of the fifth estate. The supporters of this "obscure 72-year-old iconoclast" are thus passed off as "a small but impassioned group of young people," with obvious derogatory implications. The media finds it odd and amusing that voters should care about things that they’re not supposed to know about; in the present case, the Federal Reserve and national debt, things that are supposed to be ignored, and left up to the wise old men of the establishment to sort out.

With the age of the internet, however, the media and the political establishment are now terrified of the ramifications of losing control of their time-honored role as shapers of public opinion. And they’re very, very confused. As Ed Rollins, a former adviser to President Reagan and manager of Ross Perot's 1992 campaign told the Washington Post, commenting on the record donation to Paul’s campaign:

"…I've been in politics for 40 years, and these days everything I've learned about politics is totally irrelevant because there's this uncontrollable thing like the Internet. Washington insiders don't know what to make of it."

Ron Paul and his legions of supporters, however, do know what to make of it. And here emerges another key reason why his campaign is sustainable: it’s not based, like those of the alleged "front-runners," on sheer political calculation, all too obvious in their flip-flopping, half-statements, modifications and personal attacks. Dr Paul’s positions are consistent, nuanced and well informed; he doesn’t rely on sound bites or scripted answers, he doesn’t resort to petty personal attacks, and he can debate anyone anywhere at any time. These qualities inspire an awful lot of confidence in voters and, if the media wakes up and starts to do its job, a lot more Americans are going to see just why Ron Paul is the best possible candidate for America.

In the end, whether or not the big media shows up, however, is their own business; thanks largely to the internet, the American people are far more informed, and thus more empowered to choose than they have ever been. They possess that ability which the corporate media dreads most: the ability to think for themselves. This time around, free thought and free will are turning out to be pretty popular qualities indeed.

Ron Paul, he'll either make a good leader, or end up on the fogey scrapheap, just like Menzies Campbell.

World Elects Ron Paul!

Since the Youtube Debate is on tonight (1am in the UK) on CNN I thought I'd push the Ron Paul thread again!!!

281107Ron.jpg

World Elects Ron Paul!

Vast majority in worldwide online poll say they would elect Ron Paul as the next president of the USA

A website which has collected over 72,000 votes from people in countries all over the world has revealed that the vast majority would elect Ron Paul if they had the opportunity to influence the 2008 US election.

At time of writing, the site at

www.whowouldtheworldelect.com/ has collected 72,556 votes from people in countries across the world, from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe and everywhere in between.

The results reveal that the overwhelming favourite candidate in almost every corner of the globe is Congressman Ron Paul.

Here is a list of countries Ron Paul wins the most votes in according to the site:

Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Andora; Barbuda, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Bermuda; Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Cayman Islands, Columbia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cuba, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Estonia, Fiji, Finland, French Polynesia, Germany, Gibraltar, Guam, Guatemala, Guyana, Hungary, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Korea, Latvia, Lebanon, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Mexico, Micronesia, Moldova, Monaco, Namibia, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Norway, Occupied Palestinian Territory, Pakistan, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay, The Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Samoa, San Marino, Senegal, Serbia, Seychelles, Saudi Arabia, Sierra Leone, Slovenia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, Taiwan, Thailand, Togo, Tunisia, Ukraine, UK, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu, Venezuela, Vietnam, The Virgin Islands, Wallis and Futuna Islands, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

Out of the 72,556 votes in total, Ron Paul gets over 50% with a total of 36,902. The nearest rival is Barack Obama with close to 15,000. Dennis Kucinich gets almost 7,500 and Hillary Clinton just 3,812. (Screenshot below shows all votes).

281107worldvote.jpg

Thanks to the mathematical expertise of Jim O'Donnell over at

Nolan Chart these figures translate into the following results:

Republican Primary - Ron Paul wins with 88% of the vote and no other candidate is even over 3%. Total Republican votes: 41,503

Democrat Primary - Barrack Obama wins with 49%, Kucinich 24%, Clinton 12%, Gravel 7% Total Democrat votes: 30, 486

If these votes were applied to the Presidential election then Ron Paul would beat the ENTIRE Democrat field by 51% to 49%.

In One on One matchups in the Presidential election here are the stunning results:

  • Ron Paul 91% vs Hillary Clinton 9%
  • Ron Paul 71% vs Barrack Obama 29%
  • Ron Paul 83% vs Dennis Kucinich 17%

Of course these results reflect internet users and as such do not represent an exact scientific poll, however 72,000 votes is a great deal more than the usual 1000 or so people that are normally questioned in studies by pollsters such as Gallup or Zogby.

One common criticism leveled at Ron Paul is that he represents "isolationism" and his policies would be detrimental on a global scale. Clearly the majority of voters in this global survey do not agree with that assertion as they give clear endorsement to the Congressman. No doubt they agree that the real isolationists are those who continue to make America hated the world over for interfering militarily, financially and covertly in the internal affairs of other nations.

The Neocon backbiters out there will no doubt declare the entire poll rigged or a set up on behalf of the Ron Paul campaign. However, the Who would the world elect website owners have been

keen to dispel such assertions:

Some will of course ask if it’s faked… If I actually am part of the ron paul campaign, or even if the very resourceful ron paul’ers out there have figured out how to rig the system

Well let me tell you. All people involved in this are pretty left wing and we have always voted democratic and would not have a chance to vote for ron paul (we can’t vote in the republican primary and voting for a republican over a democrat for presidency would make our left leaning parents pretty sad.

Also the designers of this site work for a couple of forbes 500 companies out there so you can bet your dog fluffy that no one has been able to vote twice.

All data is true and provable (we are democrats here… We don’t want to win by rigging the votes)

We wanted the biggest example of people from all over the world, and we seemed to have found it.

There can be no doubt, Ron Paul's campaign of freedom and limited government, along with his strong anti-war and non-interventionist foreign policy, resonates the world over.

Foot soldiers for the Ron Paul Revolution

James Rainey

LA Times

Saturday December 1, 2007

The late-fall night fairly crackled with energy -- from a persistent Santa Ana wind, the high-tension power lines overhead and, especially, from the crowd packed inside the living room of a ranch house at the west end of the San Gabriel Valley.

Eighty people sat elbow to elbow on tight rows of folding chairs, chattering with enthusiasm and ideas. They would produce wall calendars and a concert. They would reenact the Boston Tea Party on the Santa Monica Pier. They would write to every independent voter in Iowa.

The foot soldiers of the Ron Paul Revolution, Pasadena Division, were only getting started.

Founded nine months ago by one of the first followers of the Texas congressman and Republican presidential candidate, the Pasadena "meetup" spawned more than 1,200 similar groups that claim nearly 77,000 members nationwide.

These fervent supporters and their freewheeling tactics have helped turn Paul into, first, an Internet sensation and, now, this political season's most unlikely phenomenon.

A 45-year-old artist and adventurer is bicycling from Santa Monica to the Jefferson Memorial in Washington to raise awareness about Paul. A Nevada brothel owner recently promised to take up a collection from her customers. One Colorado backer quickly raised more than $350,000 online this week, with a plan to launch a Ron Paul blimp.

"It's bigger than one. It's bigger than a group," Juliet Annerino, a Silver Lake fitness trainer and singer, said at the recent gathering of the Pasadena group. "We are making history right now. Right here."

Paulites tend to be tech-savvy, tired of traditional politics and suspicious of their government and the mainstream media.

But after that, they defy categories. A quick survey of the Pasadena group found Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians and Constitution Party followers uniting behind some or all of the Paul libertarian agenda -- ending the war in Iraq, abolishing gun control laws, legalizing marijuana and dismantling big hunks of the U.S. government, especially the IRS and Federal Reserve system.

(A Note From Ron Paul, limited government, GOP presidential contender)

"Want to know a secret? There were two moments I especially enjoyed at the CNN/YouTube debate -- despite my frustration at some of the questions, and the maldistribution of time.

First, I was pleased at John McCain's attack, which he clearly had planned. Not because that sort of stream-of-consciousness nonsense about Hitler and WWII -- when the neocons openly want what they call WW IV! Are we to forget that the first war crime charged at Nuremberg was waging aggressive war?

I mean this: mainstream politicians NEVER attack an opponent they think is far behind. The McCain campaign, we've heard, is worried sick about New Hampshire, and they thought a slam at me would help. Ha! Of course, it only strengthened our forces.

Then, after the debate, Rudy Giuliani walked up to me and said, "Oooh, you sure have a LOT of supporters." It's only the beginning, I told him.

Indeed, he could have told that by the crowd outside after the debate. Mitt Romney had a few people, but no one else did. We, on the other hand, had about 500 enthusiastic revolutionaries, plus a boat, a trolley, and two planes towing lighted signs. As I looked out at the crowd, I thought: the establishment has no idea of what they are facing. We have an army of freedom, prosperity, and peace. As the LA Times political blog noted the other day, the British also thought they had no problem with the Americans--until Yorktown.

But we have an astoundingly short time before the first contests. The Iowa caucuses are on January 3, the New Hampshire primary is on January 8, and Nevada and South Carolina are both on January 19. We have only 30 days to stake our claim to the nomination, and to the new America that restores the ideals of the founders, and leads the world through free enterprise, a sound dollar, the rule of law, and peaceful example. Not through inflation and bombs.

Help me surprise the neocons and all the establishment with our success. Help me build the foundation for the America we all want.

The military-industrial complex, the biased media, the big banks, the Fed, the waterboarders, and the IRS don't like what we're doing. But every good American is applauding us, and daring to hope for a better future. Please, help me give it to them, to us, to all Americans to come. Keep this revolution growing and winning."

Sincerely,

Ron

(Ron Paul release)

Are you sure you're not Ron Paul^? :P

ohh ok.. I believe you :wacky:

anyway I haven't heard about him in the news.. they just talk about Obama and Hillary

  • Author

Of course they only talk about those two...that's the way things are...Ron Paul is a danger the military industrial complex who, along with the private banks and those at the CFR have been rigging this Bush/Clinton dynasty for decades.

The amount of dirty tactics the "News" media have used against Ron Paul is disgusting.

FLASHBACK: Ron Paul House Floor Speech on Iraq (October 8, 2002)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8TZ5cpaPlf4

(C-SPAN) Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) made comments on Iraq during a House floor speech on October 8, 2002.

Voted against the 2002 Iraq resolution.

Said there is "no convincing evidence that Iraq is capable of threatening the security of this country." Stands against the preemptive strike.

In the Christian doctrine of Just War, the proper authority must be responsible for initiating the war, that proper authority cannot be transferred to the President nor to the United Nations. Going to war through the back door (the UN).

There's no act of agression. Iraq, an impoverish, 3rd world nation. Congress must assume responsibility for the declaration of war.
