Another Sunday's Random Polliness

Thanks to Lord Mark for the suggestion.

Do you generally (at least 3 out of 4 weeks) go to church on Sundays (or on whatever day if your working week starts on a sunday)?

Don't lie, or I will set the lie detector on you

I used to go to the church a lot... I was there all the saturdays working with little kids and I used to go almost every sunday...

but now I don't.. since like 2 years ago

I don't go to church, the last time I went to church was when I was in year 6 at primary school, so pretty much 10 years ago. Apart from a couple funerals

I never go to chuch for religious reasons, only when it's concerts and stuff like that

I go to church when I feel like it....when I want to think about my life then going to church is one of the best solutions...although i don't go there too often it still means something to me...I don't think it's useless...

i go to church every sunday or saturday with my family..

we're religious..

but I'm not like the girl who goes to church and doesn't go to clubs and only do the right things (my friends is like that.. well she's not the same religion as I am)

I'm a common yoiug person like most of you!

but i just have a life close to God and stuff

I go to church, but I only enjoy it because the minister is really cool....

But he's leaving so I might stop going...

i'm the same.

i used to go/ go more often when i'm back home. i've been a couple of times in england but i'm still unsure where to go to be honest

My mom was a church organist/choir director, so I HAD to go when I was a kid. Now I only go for Christmas and sometimes EAster. I'm going this Christmas because I have to take my mom.

On the rare occasions that I go, I still enjoy the ritual and ceremony. But my relationship with God is not based on going to some building once a week, even a beautiful and ornate one.

I gotta work on sunday! :(

So does that mean you would go if you could?

Yes it does mark.....

Exactly how I feel. I feel closer God when I'm in bed thinking about it by myself than I do listening to words drone on in an old brick building...

Plus, my mum works at a retirement village so we have to go the the church there....ug...old people...

lol. My mom is now in a nursing home, and although I feel guilty for saying it, I feel the same way. Alot of the residents are just creepy and crazy. I guess we'll all be old people one day, but I have a hard time dealing with them. ANyway, I'm babbling, lol.

^Some are OK, the rest scare me....

but I'm going to do what my grandma has done. She's 84 and she still walks everywhere. She gave up her car when she was about 75 and now she is as healthy as....someone whos a lot younger
