I can't wait!!! That "row" between Chris and Guy is a bit like the arguments that get written on the fanfiction thread!

i didn't even know that there are so many books written about Coldplay. Unfortunately, in my country, they don't sell these books. How can I read them? I'm desperate!!!

héhéhé you're welcome!!!

It's says it's approuved by the band, but in his book, Spivack said also he has the 'green light' from Coldplay...

But I'm certain that McGinn's book will be way much better and interesting AND really approuved by the boys ^^

Here's a little bit of McGinn's book

(the insert link won't work... è.é!!It's on my colpdplay.com archive...

enjoyed reading this forum, and looking at the library page! question: is there a forum somewhere on the boards for sharing thoughts about what one is currently reading (coldplay-related and otherwise)? i just started "the bromeliad trilogy" --i love terry pratchett's books! thanks for your patience. :)

it wasn't published anywhere. there's a thread in the coldplay section with all the info about it

I thought I should post it here too ^^ I wrote to Anova books to know the whereabouts about Matt's book and I got a reply!

IT'S A GOOD NEWS!

Dear Aurelie,

Thank you for your email. Sorry it has taken me a while to come back to you: I was out of the office when it came through. Yes, we are going to publish this title (It's actual title will be 'Roadie: My Life With Cold Play'), but I am afraid it is not coming out until next year. The date of publication is at the moment May 2010 but that may change as we get nearer to the publication date. So it will definitely happen but I am afraid you are going to need to wait a little while longer for it to appear.

Sorry - hope it will be worth the wait!

Best wishes,

Jonathan White

My review on Matt McGinn's "Roadie - My Life On The Road With Coldplay"

Heya, i am new to this forum i cant believe i have never joined onto this being a hardcore coldplay fan for the past 10 years!

I purchased Matt's book the day it was released and have been very eager to read it. This book is very well written and has a very good, friendly but real tone to it. The book is filled with brilliant stories about himself with the band and gives you a big insight into what happens behind the scenes as a roadie for Coldplay. With this book you travel with Matt through the journey of Coldplay through the good times and the not so good times, but overall it is a brilliant read and i absolutely love it and recommend it to absolutely anyone! Even if you are not a massive fan of the band yo ustill get the insight and the stories of what it is like being a roadie for a band that started out traveling up the M1 in a minivan and re now jetting around the world for massive stadium world tours!

Viva Coldplay! :D
