yeah, i think polaroid announced this week that theyre no longer making instant polaroid cameras, which is very sad. but the film IS crazy expensive...but people use it for more arty things now than instant photography (because digital is soo much easier). i'd want one for the cool effects and weird look.

 

They stopped making the cameras a few years ago, but this week announced they would stop making the film.

Digital cameras are better than film cameras when at gigs, because you can generally take more photos, and you can tell if the picture is decent when you view the picture, and if needed take another photo. Also quicker to get the pictures online.

 

However you can't beat a film camera for recording scenes of accidents, due to the nature of digital photos being able to make changes to the pictures.

Sadly being sneaky and putting in a last minute bid is the only way to win popular ebay auctions these days, due to the free software which allows a ghost to place a bid at a certain time for that auction on behalf of another user.

one time I waited until the last 9 seconds to bid on an item I won :evil: there were like 20 bids in the last minute :blush:
