Ijsselstein, bij/in Utrecht. Yeah, it wasn't quite Berlin. I did have German classes there, for about 2 lessons and it was soooo bad. Afterwards I could understand why everyone hated this class. I mean what you basicly do is learn words and verbs in all different times by heart. Everything in the way it was taught would have made me hate it, to be honest.where do you live?

I live in schiedam, next to rotterdam I know Ijsselstein, I went to school in utrecht

you'd think german would be easy for ducth people but really it ain't or at least not in the way Iwas thaught...

Ah yeah, Ijsselstein really is cute and all and does feel like a second home but I was happy every time I could go to Utrecht. Its still a lot tinnier than here, but at least it has awesome record shops, haha. Rotterdam is awesome. Although I havent found many people who agree.

I think German is alright to understand after a short time of studying but getting all the crappy times right and the stupid word order and things like that... are you at university now?

And by the way, German is a REALLY hard language, at least for "Latin" people (French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese). I tried to learn German for at least 10 years, and still can't speak one sentence correctly...:(

Chris is insane anyway. he always says "sorry for my horrible German" and then he goes and makes up a few perfect sentences. I mean, noone would SAY it but they are grammatically correct and all. Shame he only talked about how stupid mondays are in Berlin but it was good enough <3

 

On his guitar, pff, your mind is way too innocent (which is great because before I wrote iconnent, I love my dyslexic mind ^^) .

I think German is pretty hard for most people. The grammar sure is.

But hey, I learnt French for 7 years and my grammar still sucks big time, too ^^

Utrecht does have the greatest record shops! and I do Love Rotterdam, it also has great record shops but they're a bit harder to find, and it feels like my home town to me, I love it!

 

what killed my german was mostly your grammar, I just don't get it! while in english or french (not so much as english) I just know it's right...'

 

I'm not at uni, I work full time as a window dresser, one day I might start uni but right now I just wanna work with my hands and be creative! and I'm soo off topic again! :laugh3:

You didnt understand German grammar because there's no real logic in it... Teachers tried to tell me there is, but there isn't. (Yeah, I had trouble with it, too, actually.) English Grammar is a joke. Which is good, I guess.

You are shifting and mumble "I wanna be adored" in your sleep. You look quite adorable when you do that, so I might tell you that at least one person adores you indeed. Our Area 51 is where we are sitting right now, at the back of our tourbus, the lights passing by outside. Jesus, etc. don't matter to me right now because I've got you Jonny, or I'd better say I still have the memories of the two of us stored in the back of my mind. War on war has passed, but still you won't look at me anymore.
