Omg! really? that sounds fabulous. in school in kinda doing the same, its a class called AP art, which is like a prep class to have a more solid portfolio to get into uni or jobs, etc. Although i love Fine art(here we call it visual art) i believe that visual communication(we call it comercial art) to be a growing career, plus its easier to make a living out of it!!! im planning on studying graphic design/ illustration hopefully at the end of these year!! :D

for my portfolio, im doing portraits of the boys(Coldplay) i already have chris done, im starting with jonny's today and hopefully by the end of the week they will be done!!

funny thing is that my teacher(who is a moron btw) doesnt want us to draw "famous" people, but luckily he doesnt know coldplay!! :lol:

lol, Ive been doing some little illustrations of Jonny and Chris, the thing about them is they have to look exactly like them or I get annoyed.....lol! maybe Ill upload em or something after Ive finished em.

i think chris is the hardest one to draw...

I drew him playing a guitar the other day, the body looked fine...I drew the face about 5times..then gave up...now he has a blank face lol...Ill redraw it probably. :lol:

dont give up, and u know what really helps, play coldplay as u draw him!!! its such a crazy feeling!! :D

its a great sketch, that's basically what i do to. i do a rough stetch to get the shape right, but mine are more geometrical, then i erase, and add, and etc. its a long process

:lol: :lol: stick man!!! i havent drawn those in a while!! i have a friend in art as well(the future coldplay fan, as i call him) he does the best stick figures, no joke...he can draw almost anything with sticks!! its hilarious :lol:

Oh jonny, how he loves everything chris does!!! its so adorable. at my concert, right at the end of white shadows, They both laid down on the floor, i so tried to get a pic of this moment, but i was behind this really tall guy, and the security guy had already stopped me twice for going almost to the front! :lol: i should have just ran..

They didnt lie down at my concert unfortunately...think they did the day after (damn!) but at my concert they did do this (below).... which I liked a lot! back-jean pocket...sneaky Chris! :sneaky: I couldnt believe I was seeing C&J love infront of me!!
