No Ladder to The Sun ? :-(

Featured Replies

Dammit . It looks like it hasn't made it onto the new album

( crosses fingers it'll at least be a b-side )

I really hope they release Solid Ground one day. It would be amazing if they put that on the new album as a b-side! it might even fit with the sort of theme for this album because they said they were going to record it with a big brass band or something.

They're not going to release ladder to the sun as anything, they probably don't even remember it. ladder to the sun is very old, 2003 territory. It's like releasing moses. They've worked on probably more than a hundred songs since then. They supposedly turned down 42 songs for X&Y, even if they did feel obliged to release it as a b-side, I think they would've done it by now.

I don't think they'll be releasing that song either. It's a great song and everything but I would rather have them release a song I have never heard before than one that I already know.

They were playing Ladder to the Sun during the AROBTTH days, like 5 years ago, I highly doubt it'll ever be recorded.

Mimi! You are online! Yeah, it was played on their tour....

hahaha high 5!:P

yeahhh, i don't think we're ever going to get a studio version of that song. i'm just grateful that we have SOME version of that song--think of the hundreds of AMAZING songs of theirs that we'll never ever get to hear! that thought makes me sad...

What's to say they haven't recorded a version? There might be one floating around in their unreleased collection somewhere...

Damn! If I was a member of Coldplay Id push to release songs like this to the fans, don't they know how mush it would please us?
