Wow I had to help myself with google translate there, I am not that proficient in Arabic yet haha. Ooooo that's great. My teacher likes to point out differences in how different countries speak Arabic, and it's always interesting to notice the differences

And I know of an intelligent keyboard online but I was too lazy to use it haha.

Well to tell you from experience: google translate sucks :laugh3:

I didn't write slang, I wrote fosha, but I didn't know how to integrate English words in an Arabic sentence so that's why my reply came out messy

Anyway, I was asking why you chose to study Arabic? :)

Arab?WOW!

Is thetre anybody from morocco? My parent came frome there :)

Hello Majda :) this thread existed for a long time but it was buried deep due to lack of activity :shame:

I am trying to revive it, but still :(

ahh I missed the part about why I study it! well I speak 4 other languages (including my native one, French) and I wanted something different than what I'm used to (it worked haha). I also am majoring in International Relations and the arab world comes up a lot in the news lately, so I thought it could be useful.

I think Arabic must be the most difficult of them  Anyway, good luck with your studies & if you ever needed to practice your Arabic I am here to help :nice:

ahhh it is quite difficult to learn Arabic.. you have to change the way you create sentences to the Arabic way and it can be tough haha but thank you

Ah if you have an iPod or any apple device you can customize keyboards. Lawl not because that. I really want to learn how to speak Arabic fluently so I guess it's just motivation really..

oh! yeah arabic is beautiful..especially the arabic thats spoken in countries like Syria, palestine OH especially Lebanon! i love their accents so much! its like the best thing out there. I am from kuwait so my accent is kinda... ah.. how Americans are to the British ? if that makes sense ..but good choice :D i dont think its that hard to learn tbh especially if you are motivated ^.^

I'm not finding it hard, I got all the tenses under my belt hah.

Ah that's pretty cool. I haven't noticed much accents or dialect since I'm doing Modern Standard.

^Hi! I'm Tunisian and I live in Tunisia:D
