I personally think it will be different from the previous, you know ending the triology and stuff. All previous records has had something in the centre that gets the attention, a logo (the planet, the mixep-up body and the code). I'm guessing this artwork will be a bit more "spreaded out" if you know what I mean, more like a picture, more details, not like a logo. Or perhaps plainer, simpler. I'm thinking white artwork (dunno why, I just do). I hope they will stick with their previous idea of having the singles artwork connected to the CD'c artwork, I love that. :kiss:

in reference to art composition, yes they do.

Yes they have somthing in common, as Silverspira said, the 'logo' or main picture is in the middle. Maybe the next album cover is a big colourful picture or just a monoton coloured picture... well who knows:laugh3:

The object in the middle is completely different every time and the colours change, but from a designer's point of view, they're all identical.

 

Pick a thing, stick it dead centre, choose a solid background colour, add the text along one of the sides- always very small and in albertus medium. Voila. Instant Coldplay cover.

 

It'll be interesting to see if and how they switch it up. Though I do hope they stick to the minimalism- it works for them. But who knows...

I have no idea but I don't really think that there will be a picture of the band on the cover . . . :thinking:

But . . . who knows ???

since some titles speak about death and many songs sound very dark, I immagine an artwork in tim burton style... it would be nice wouldn't it?

I figure it will have the same color schemes as coldplay.com.....they said the web designer did it to match the new album artwork.....so I guessing the hand written fonts and Tan colors will be something to look for with the album.....as far as pictures of logos go.....no idea what they could possible put on the cover at this point.....my mind is still in the Parachutes, AROBTTH, X&Y eras....so I'm looking forward to being surprised

hmm. im thinking the colour will be black, to match the dark mood. so im not sure tan or white would go. plus its been done in AROBTTH. I know that I just want it to be very different from the last album artworks-if its a completley new and seperate cd and sound, it should look different. anything extreme would be nice. =)

I'm hoping it'll be as Coldplay as the rest...confusing yet still a work of art. I still believe that X&Y was the most amazing cover I've seen in about ages (I called the alphabet in the booklet the Coldplalphabet and for I while I tried to learn to read and write it :lol:)
