March 6, 200818 yr I think lack of sleep causes a lot of bad stuff. Once you stop getting enough sleep every night, it's sort of like a snowball sort of thing. I can't sleep at all anymore. Because of it, I can't focus in school, I rarely finish all of my homework, and I don't have good judgement when it comes to making decisions. Nowadays, I talk all crazy and sometimes even to myself because I really can't keep up with conversation without losing track of what's going on because I'm falling asleep. It's just not right. I just can't sleep. So, all you Coldplayers/lurkers, make sure you get a lot of sleep or you'll end up like poor little Sally from those old videos.
March 6, 200818 yr i definitely agree. i've been a raving insomniac for a few years now (since about 10th grade, i think) and it's just a nightmare (haha, pun unintended). the worst part is that if i'm trying to sleep and get the sense that i can't fall asleep, i start freaking out and stressing that i'll have a completely sleepless night. i think that freak-out for me is actually worse and more stressful than the sleep deprivation. and now it's just terrible that i have to SHARE a fricking room at uni...i can't do ANYTHING about it because just the presence of another person (especially one that goes to bed later than i do and leaves the :censored: lights on) bothers me. i plan to go to the doctor next week to get a note saying that i HAVE to have a single bedroom next year because this is making me miserable. i've actually never let my sleep deprivation get in the way of my schoolwork, somehow, but it makes me so unhappy and angry i just can't stand it.
March 6, 200818 yr i dont get enough sleep for about 2 weeks. but it's school holiday, and i can sleep how many hours i want!
March 6, 200818 yr i should go to sleep earlier. now i'm all weak and sleepy. :( i promise i'll go to sleep once the clock strikes midnight tonight.
March 6, 200818 yr You should stay up for as long as you can, just not sleep at all (obviously at a weekend) then go to bed at a reasonable hour. That might get your sleeping patterns back on track. Though you did say you can't sleep at all now...so that advice is useless :disappointed: Maybe you should go see a doctor if you're getting no sleep at all.
