I have 2 favourite songs...Don't panic and Shiver

Oh and another thing...fnyone knows when and where will be the tourne consert of Coldplays new album!

Different songs i can listen to in different moods, sometimes X&Y album is better for me, some times AROBTTH album, sometimes Parachutes. I can't really say i have a favourite because all of them are great. But from each album i must say: Talk, X&Y, White Shadows and Twisted Logic stood out, GPASUYF, Daylight, AROBTTH stood out, Don't Panic, High Speed, Spies, Everything's not lost and we never change. You can find B-sides under multimedia, we don't upload the albums on this site. Only a couple of tour dates have been released, thats for The Summer Sonic Festival and a couple others i think in the Netherlands.

Where... pretty much everywhere, especially W.Europe, US, South America, Australasia and Asia (not sure about Estonia though)

how do i like their music..? mm kind of hard i don't know i just love them and their music :) but i like it when it's soft.. slow.. and it has lyrics.. inspirated on good facts..

what do i feel when i listen to it..? AL THE FEELINGS YOU CAN IMAGINE..

but it depends the song..

E.g. "Moses" makes me feel happy, "Shiver" makes me feel sad, "White Shadows" makes me feel powerfull...

What song i like the best..? mmmm that's harder than the first one.. i can't tell you one.. but i can tell you a few.. Amsterdam, Shiver, A message, the scientist, Warnign Sign, Til Kingdom come, etc etc etc etc :) (but my favorite album ever is " A Rush of Blood to the Head" ;)

Haha. In elementary school I remember wanting to do a report on Estonia for a geography project because it had a cool flag and it wasn't very well known. Unfortunately I ended up writing about some other country because I couldn't find any books on it.

Because their music is perfect.. all of their songs are perfect, even all covers are perfect.

There is no other band that is so perfect as Coldplay.

 

Radiohead, they have very good songs, OK Computer is my no.4 album... Lucky, Airbag, Paranoid Android, Creep, Subterrain Homesick Alien, Exit music etcetera.. that are very , very good songs, BUT they also have songs that arent good.. and live they completly suck when it comes to improvisation.

 

Coldplay don't have that.. They are very good at improvisation and live versions etcetera.. all songs are good.. Spies live intro VERY, VERY GOOD!

 

There are people(even famous musicians(!)) that are telling that Coldplay can't play, Chris Martin sings out of tone.

One thing! I'm not a famous musician, I'm even not famous in my city.. BUT I have a very, very good/perfect knowledge of musictheorie and I can play by ear, I can easy reconize wrong notes.. And it's very rare that Coldplay are playing wrong notes.

Ofcourse, they have sometimes a bad day.. I also do have that.

 

I have mp3's of Coldplay on my pc with a lot of mistakes..

All bands makes them.. why? Isnt it their job to play always good?

NO, do you know why? Well, because this is one of the hardest jobs exist. What do you think? Famous people that dies because of drugs.. can't stop drink.. being killed.. just getting very depressed? Because their job is very heavy.

Now do you know why famous musicians getting much money for their gigs.

 

When you see them live(a few hours) that is the most small part of the whole gig!

And then going to the next side of the world, than there, than here,, than writing new songs there, than have intervieuw here.. than their private life.. than this, than that.

 

I have alot of musicians that can live with that.. they earn their famous, they earn their gotten money.

Well, thats why I love Coldplay!

My favorite songs: Pour me, Ladder to the Sun, Spies, Trouble, Things i don't Understand, High Speed, Shiver, Politik, Amsterdam, One I Love, and all other songs...

I don't know what my favorite song is. It was "In My Place" for a bit, but right now it's probably "See You Soon."

 

The feeling I used to get when I listened to them was that I had heard them before, a weird sense of deja vu, but not like they were copying another band's music, but like I had heard the songs before in a dream or something like that. I can't explain it. o.0

oh yes, my favorites, i knew there was a reason i came to this thread.

 

it was shiver until x & y came out and a message became my favorite. but i'd have to say amsterdam at this point

Coldplays music is incredable....every song makes you feel different feelings! Like when i listen-What if- it makes me wanna cry...if i listen-Shiver-i feel a bit happier...if i listen-Don't panic-i understand that we truly live in a beautiful world!

Stephan your whole post was, i guess, absolutely right, hit the nail on the head pretty much!

Their music makes me smile. It makes me cry. It makes me think. It lets me be more freespirited. I can't really go into much detail about it...the music just connects with me. More than any other artists. It's the only music I listen to and I think "Wow, they understand me. I don't feel alone in this world anymore." And that might sound cheesy, but to me, it's the greatest feeling in the world, knowing that there's some people out there that can feel the same feelings that I do.

i COMPLETELY agree. i really feel like i understand what they're talking about, even when the lyrics are a bit more oblique or metaphorical. and i feel like they really understand ME, know exactly the sorts of things i've gone through and think about.

 

my favorites change all the time, but my top three would have to include see you soon, shiver, and the scientist, i think.

I don't think I could ever have a top three, haha. I would just be like 'oh wait, I forgot this song...' hehe. But my go-to song when I'm upset is always going to be 'In My Place'. Everytime I hear that song when I'm sad I just cry all I can and then feel better.
