Black Rose
What just is the best football league in europe, after you take into account factors such as quality of players, quality of the football being played, overall quality of the teams etc. Discuss

Black Rose
I'm going for the Championship, where it might not get the world's best players, it has a sense of unpredictably about it, where pretty much the top half can still finish top given a good run of results, and where pretty much the bottom quarter can still go down. Texasluvsjonny
Championship...the Prem is just the where will the big clubs finish and then everybody else league. The Championship is wide open. Shush with that going down talk David! Ligue 1 is boring as hell. Bundesliga not too bad, but I could never really get into it. Same with the Eredivisie. Neither are shown here anymore. La Liga not shown here, but it would nice if it was. Serie A is now shown here and I'm learning about the teams, so I'll have get to know it more to make a decision on it. Not in Europe but, I do love me some football Argentina!
Petit Prince
i'd say the premier league. off topic: anyone heard of that new sky contract? does this mean that ITV wont show the champions league anymore?:\
Starlight
Although I follow the Premiership the most, It's usually too predictable. As of recently there has been a change with Arsenal slipping and all, but usually it's always the Big 4 and then seeing who get relegated this season. Though I can say that it has more of--for lack of a better word.. 'thrill' while following it. Because although it is usually one of the Big 4 winning at the end of the season, the closeness in points makes it more interesting to follow, and is different than the big point gaps in Serie A and La Liga. I might have contradicted myself, and probably didn't even answer the original question, but that was my two cents.
busybeeburns
Premiership. I only get excited about La Liga if Barco or RM are playing. I only watch Italian games when the're playing in the Champions League, and even then it's usually against a Premiership team. The English Championship only gets exciting at Playoff time, which is two weeks of the year.
Larry
I voted for "La Liga", but it's only a matter of time when the Premier League will overtake it. No wonder that the big 4 English teams have all reached the next round in the Champions League. But it's sad to see that young English players don't have the chance to prove themselves. Personally the most exciting one is the Bundesliga. Perhaps the German clubs don't have all these famous players, but the atmosphere in the stadiums is just incredible and the last one is always able to beat the best team (like last Saturday). :)

Black Rose
The Premiership gets boring after a while, you know that the same 4 teams will finish in the top 4.

busybeeburns
I love Setanta for showing loads of Blue Square games. They're what football is really all about - crap quality, rain, thursday nights in aldershot, and plenty of goals :D
