I can remember being 19 - I thought I knew everything, but I'd really hardly started. I know now that I still hardly know ANYTHING! A good quote from someone somewhere (don't know who - see - don't even know who I'm quoting :? ) "The only thing you learn from experience is that you DON'T learn from experience" ! :lol: Makes me feel better, somehow ..... :-D

It is a quote! A very very very old quote. I happen to know that it is from the ancient greek philosopher Socrates. I making my paper on him right this second. He was very wise, so you MUST be aswell! :D

Hey thanks Chrissy! I had no idea it went back to Socrates! I wonder what it must've been like at a dinner party in those days - a dinner party with all the philosophers around the table! The conversation would have been interesting ... ! :-D

If I remember it right, he said something like: "I know that I don't know anything." I took Ancient Greek in school for five years, so I should have better not forgotten about it! :shock:

I didn't say I was 11, I say I was entering this year to grade 11 in the USA. I'm 13 and turn 14 on April, 17th.

and yerrr i`m old enuff to be a mother....turning 20 on sept the 12th (one freakin day after jonny) yuppie!
