so the girl had to work today.....the weather is freaking nice (it's the first warm day this year) and so I went out with 3 friends (including him) to go for a walk and eat ice-cream...it was a really really nice day...

 

so, now I am chatting with the girl and she asked me what I did today...I told her that I went out with them....so she got angry and said that he said he cleaned the house all day long and didn*t go out....so he lied.

 

well and now she is angry....because when she wants to do such things with him he is always too tired and all that stuff....and I feel awkward because I don't want him to be a bit angry with me, because I told her that he went out with us.....

 

so she is sad now....

 

 

 

ah those situations are just awkward and nothin else...

He lied to her and he shouldn't have! Also he hadn't asked you not to say anything to her and even if he had he can't expect you to lie to your friend.

I hope she's not angry with you ... You couldn't know what he told to his girlfriend!

I accidentally gave away a lie a guy told his girlfriend a few years ago, and although he was angry at the time, he got over it. He shouldn't have lied in the first place. It'll sort itself out one way or another.;)

Julia, it's not your fault whatsoever, it was his. Anyway, I can't deny this is an awkward situation, but sooner or later she'd have found out he wasn't honest with her. You had no clue that he had lied to her!

Oh when they are togehter he always treats her nicely...but obviously ( I don't know for which reason) he isn't really bothered to go out with her...like going for a walk (ok he doesn't really like these things....he rather likes sleeping and being lazy...)...

 

it was the same on friday evening...we wanted to meet at her house....at first she asked him but he said he said he was too tired....after she knew that me and another friend would come over to her house she asked him again and he said "Oh hm if Julia and X will come....I guess I'll come too!" ...so she told him that he obviously only wants to come when we are all spending time togehter....he said she was right and stayed at home....it is quite strange...

For me it's quite clear the thing that is happening to him. Look, I think he has got used to a routine and habits and if he always says he's too tired, etc (lame apologies, btw) to her is because when he goes out with his gf he ends up being bored. That's why he needs extra people, to have more fun. But, in my opinion, this doesn't mean that he doesn't love her - it's just a matter of pure routine and being lazy.

and you could be right about this routine thing....I think that must be it....because when they are together there is definitely no sign that he doesn't love her...when they aren't together they always write each other thousands of sms...

haha, I thought of the two meanings that you could have given to the sentence and I had to ask you which one it was since I wasn't too sure about it.

 

well, I have been going out with my bf for 7 years now and when you've been with the same person for so much time I think it's normal that in a certain way you've got a routine. I think he should try and make an effort for the relationship though... because when you're that bored it's sort of easy that you fall for someone else.
