Nah. Like I said, I've had friends die as a result of that type of addiction...kind of kills the buzz...

No Heroin is bad ... it destroys people..

I cant believe how many people here are so okay with drug use. I thought these were Coldplay fans, not drugged up emo punks. I thought more people in the world werent encouraging or even okay with drug use, but I was wrong. Ive lost a lot of respect for people tonight and its getting hard to say "people are generally good" when everyone is saying "Go fuck up your life if you want to" or "As long as its used in moderation, I dont see any harm".

Somewhere Jimi Hendrix and Bon Scott are looking down with shame...:\

ok, I'm not defending drug abuse...and as I said, most of it's a dead end. But even Guy smokes pot, and he's not exactly messing up his life.

I hope you don't lose respect for Coldplay because one of their members has had a toke. There are a lot of reasons to decide how you feel about people, not just one.

Hey dude, maybe you need some weed to calm yourself down..

wow, I am really shocked with how close minded you lot are.

smoking pot is NOT trashy at all. unless being able to think in a different way than you'd normally think or be more creative, or appreciate things in a different light is trashy.

arg.

I seriously would like to stick a blunt in all of your mouths and let you actually experience it.

gah, you're a dumbass.

yeah, I agree with that. drugs aren't good, period. whether or not you take a little or a lot, it doesn't make it any better. it's still the same.

Just because Guy smokes pot, doesnt mean I hate him, but I dont encourage it, and I think someone who so many people looking up to him shouldnt smoke, he shouldnt encourage people. The point is, drugs are bad, and you shouldnt do them. And Ive had a pretty f***ked up life, and many people have told me it shocks them I dont do drugs. And then it pisses me off when people with great lives and good opportunities throw it away to do drugs when they have no reason to. Some of my good friends who have the greatest lives you could want do drugs just to look even cooler, and that depresses me.:shame:

gah, you're a dumbass.

gah, you're naive.

seriously.

shut up, you absolutely NO idea what you are talking about.

I'd sooner smoke pot than a cigarette. At least one gets you high...

I've never done it before so i want to for the experience

it's easy for me to get hold of it

and i want to see what it's like

someone help me

For me, i think everybody should try it once but since i haven't try it yet. i've got no right to advice or recommend anything.

i dont know as if after i try it, i'll be addicted or not but i'll try it pretty sure.

Even when used often, smoking it does not increase your chance of cancer. Its been found that it may even help prevent it as cannaboids have anti-carcinogenic properties, of course inhaling smoke really isn't good for your lungs or throat, but when its vaporized and intaken as steam there aren't negative effects.. Not only that, but according to scientific research they've not found any correlation between using it, and brain damage.

When it comes to drugs, just say no.

I've never done drugs so I'm no expert on whether you should take it or not. However, I do know that for very good reasons, I wouldn't touch the stuff. Besides the obvious problem of addiction (which can sometimes be the only problem to successfully ruin so much of your life), you have associated health problems to yourself, immediately and potentially.

Why anyone who doesn't need it for medicinal purposes would use it is really beyond me. To enlighten their artistic side - sure, if that's reason enough to do it, then nor I or anyone else can tell you otherwise. Taking drugs is a choice. One that can potentially leave you in a worse position than when you first started.

As for those who said they've used it, no one has actually come out and said it was the best thing or that it was so great that they'd do it again. Just remember, drugs are addictive. There is a reason why most drugs are illegal. If you don't need it, don't do it. If you're willing to take that chance, then do what you feel. You only live once and what you do is up to you, just remember, there are consequences, good and bad, and don't say no one warned you when the going gets bad, reports of its effects are on the news, internet - blah everywhere, even at a young age we are told: say no to drugs. My advice is to listen and learn.

Yes, you do only live once (almost said twice, coldplay, lulz.) so why would you choose to not try something once?

I cant believe how many people here are so okay with drug use. I thought these were Coldplay fans, not drugged up emo punks.

If being a Coldplay fan means I can't have a brain as well, I don't want to be a Coldplay fan any more.

:bigcry:

Not everyone reacts the same way their first time, that is to say some aren't as strong minded to stop at the first go, or even second etc. Thing you, the first time, you have that choice, all times to follow, you may not. It's a drug, designed to be addictive.

I get where you're coming from and I'm all for the whole "you only live once so why not?" approach, but that doesn't and shouldn't apply to everything. I'm saying this simple because I've seen the effects long-term drug use can do. Long-term originating from short-term which comes down to the first time.

It comes down to the person, each case may be different and instead of analyse each one, I stick to my general statement of simply not to do it.

I respect everyone's decisions/opinions when it comes to using marijuana to a point.

It just seems people are being very, very judgemental when the majority of posters are not educated on the topic.

When it comes down to it, it is a persons prerogative.

btw i think there's even a cake of that (a friend of mine gave me a cookie one day, on the break and i was :rolleyes2: the next class... (it was by accident, she warned me about, and i thought she was joking, because i thought, how an 'enterprise' can sell food with drugs on it?).

lol, my friend was just telling me, that almost happened to her too...

Btw, I've never tried it and I'm fine with that.

To Frozen... You can do whatever you want but now you've done any harder drug I think you must be careful about the whole sittuation.

And of course weed is fucking addictive... I think its pretty lame when people start do it all the time because they feel stressed or is the only way they get to feel good in their lives. This also might be a launch to harder stuff.

a bit off-topic but why does all threads that natalya starts ends in battles of us nice people who came here just because we like coldplay, and then we come to those threads trying to convince everybody that we are right on doing or not doing 'that' thing?

and why last natalya's threads end to be so reveiling ones?

i mean i got surprised about some comments posted here coming from certains posters, it don't make me change my idea about them, i still think them are cool people but i didn't expected their comments here.

and about the creative use of drugs... i find it so sad, if you need to take something external of you just to be creative is a very sad thing.

i mean those weeks and months i'm in a so high creative mood, more than ever, and for me is like if i were constantly on drugs... i see the world on a different way and in some way it is like a love story for me.

once this 'story' will be over, and i know it will be, i will miss it, i'll try to be on a creative mood again, i'll try it in many many ways, but for sure i won't take drugs for that, because i find it a bad thing, for the reason i had said, if you need something external to be creative is a bad sign.

in some way i like those natalya's threads, them bring 'interesting' debates about many tabu things which is interesting, but if all them end in a battle :\ is not good.

This also might be a launch to harder stuff.

If marijuana acts as a gateway drug for certain people, maybe the people doing it aren't mature enough to handle pot.

Its all about self control and moderation.

The hardest drug I've done are shrooms...I'd do them again in a heartbeat.

Really great if you want to look around and appreciate everything and see life through rose tinted glasses.<3

Well, its a forum...isn't the point to debate and share opinions?

I respect everyone's decisions/opinions when it comes to using marijuana to a point.

True. Like anything, getting educated is important, especially about drugs. That doesn't just mean for those who take it but for those who don't. I don't support getting all huffed and puffed etc towards users, especially when their arguments can sometimes reveal their ignorance about it.

Another thing, smart/successful people who use it and go on to lead great lives is no indication it's ok, and by no means a worthy example to base your decision on.

i know is a forum mandy, but as i said, we are friendly people and seems to me that sometimes people in those threads are contantly trying to convince the other about do or not do that stuff, we are in a free world, and as we are 'adults' we are free to try not try a thing and we shouldn't be almost 'forcing' someone about do or not do it.. :\

i partially agree with your point of try a thing to know the experience by yourself, because i think that is better to try a thing by oneself, even when we want to critizise it later, you must know a thing to can critizise it properly imo, but still it scares me to end hooked on any drugs so (and i repeat, i know many and most them easier to get to what you can think)... i will refuse to take them voluntary. (as i said i tried some ones just accidentally :\).
