You know when you're addicted to Coldplay when you're on this forum almost everyday.

^ Perfect combination indeed!!

.. when you have a coldplay lyric for each and every situation in your life.

 oh yes indeed :D

^^THIS!! lmao...when you walk in to school listening to "School" and whenever you see a 42 you freak out even if its like Page 242 or something like that

^ Awesome site. :wideeyed:

most of those are soooo true. They played Toronto recently and they showed it on fuse i like cried during "fix you" so much was and is going through my life right now, plus my step-mom just got cancer, and all i want to do is fix her and i know i cant but hopefully the doctors can, plus she listens to coldplay, she may only like one song but thats good enough for me. I may have never heard of them before VLV but that album just changed the way i listen to music and everything i do. I listened to them round Rush Of Blood, but i never knew it was them. Good and Horrible memories surround me when i listen to some of their older stuff. Ive gone through some of the toughest things, parents split up, being bullied, and just my mom and my dad fighting ALL THE TIME.

aw thanks :') whenever i tell people there just "oh ive been through much worst." sure whatever, but i think the most inspiring songs are Warning Sign, Fix You, and Paradise.

When you ever had the bad habit to write things on your palm when you don't remember them but when you knew Coldplay and Chris you thought him is worse than you :laugh3:

[in this moment I have the word Remote on my palm because I never remember the java method getRemoteAddr() and I really need to remeber it tomorrow :laugh3:]

That website DOES look cool indeed. I could be spending a bit of time on there .

 I am so sorry to hear about what you're going through. You have my complete sympathy.

"Fix You" is perfect that way. I wonder if the band's aware of just how important, how meaningful, that song is to many who hear it?

I suspect they are. Since Chris wrote it for Gwyneth when she was grieving, he probably knows what it means to anyone needing comfort. They've said in interviews how powerful songs can be even to total strangers. It must be a good feeling to know your art touches so many in a meaningful way. :)

Indeed. That's one of the amazing things about music, how it can bring all sorts of people together and give them something to connect so strongly to.

The fact that he wrote that for his wife just makes me love that song all the more. That's so sweet and touching.

You know you're addicted when you notice the Brits being re-run and watch CB again even though it's on your computer.:)

You know you're addicted when you stay up to watch Jimmy Kimmel when it will be online tomorrow.

You know you're addicted to Coldplay when you are half way down a rabbit hole trying to strangle a baby rabbit to death whilst it's mother attempts to stop you through performing a series of interpretive dances.

When you're disappointed Kung Fu Pand II didn't win the Oscar they were nominated for. LOL

They may not be in the same severity of everyone else's problems, but they're still problems and they're yours, therefore they matter.

when your in a rage mode and need to cuss out At&t because they didnt record jimmy kimmel from last night making you miss the charlie brown perfromance

edit: when you have to make a postcard for school and you address it to "Chris Martin" who happens to live on "42 Violet Hill Rd."

.. when you have been looking at the photo of Chris in a suit for the last 20 minutes and still are not bored of it. :smug:

I was disappointed, too... and I wanted George Clooney to win the Oscar.

But you can't have everything ;)

Instead of that, we go a picture of Chris in a suit! :) :D
