I was just replying in the thread to admit it was a joke and a bit of fun when I realised the thread had been locked. Thats pretty sad really considering there was no swearing or anything. Just some guy posting saying negative things about the band, you should be able to deal with that and view it as freedom of speech. The radiohead forum I post in does not lock anti-radiohead threads and I enjoy hearing an opposite point of view. That's a shame.

 

Although while I'm here I'll say that I really like the first 2 coldplay albums, brilliant. Although surely you have to admit they have gone downhill from there. I can see they tried to progress their sound but for me it hasn't been such a good progression. I haven't heard the new album though, I hope it is better than the third at least.

Not the reason it got locked. It was off-topic and pointless (like this one :P). It has nothing to do with your opinion of the band.

Well as long as you don't decide to spam us to kingdom come, I don't see why you can't stay. Personally I won't be retaliating by ripping up Atease, but unfortunately I can't speak for other members here who may not be as forgiving :P (Although I know we're mostly nice guys here).

 

I hear you with how X&Y was a slight disappointment after the first two albums (AROBTTH being my favourite), but this fourth album is looking to be a very interesting one. If you are interested I recommend you read this article here:

It definitely sounds like they've tried new things and pushed boundaries, and I'm almost certain it will be better than X&Y. Hopefully a progression.
