I have been looking at the lyrics to A Rush of Blood to the Head, and I have no idea what this song is about. :sad:

no just because one line says something about war doesnt mean thats what it is about ithink its about revenge against evil doings :roll:

WHen I hear the song I get the idea that's it's about a man (lets call him Chris) and his girl (lets say Gwen). It's about how Chris gets revenge on the people that used to bully Gwen around, and he gets killed trying to get revenge. And when all the people ask Gwen why Chris would just go out and start destroying stuff, Gwen blames is all upon a rush of blood to the head. That's just what I think.

I think that AROBTTH is about doing something without thinking about it and effecting what others think about you because of it *ie a girl perhaps* and the person that has done it may have only done it to impress the girl.

 

Then in the middle of the song when "Start as you mean to go on..." is said he is thinking about putting things right and not making the mistake again.

 

Finally the only thing he can blame his actions on is "A rush of blood to the head"

 

and at the end the mistakes dissapear "...and I know the mistakes that I make, see it all disappear without trace"

 

and it is only when they will "meet me at the bridge" that everything will be fine again and the mistakes will be in the past...

I thought AROBTTH was about drug use .... and that someone OD'd and the person who cared for them burned down the crack house or whatever in honor of the person who OD'd, but then again .. that's my opinion :o
