Come on! Which one!!! I'm still a really big fan of Violet Hill... I'm so hooked to the sound.

I really like Viva La Vida, it's very catchy.

Lovers In Japan is really pleasant. It mixes the quiet piano ballad feel in the first half with the upbeat finale, which personally I think is epic to say the least. I can't wait to hear the better quality of the album track :nice:

I agree with Hangman. Viva La Vida is one of my favourite Coldplay's songs :) Can't stop singing it :P

I'm going with VH all the way ....I get goosebumps every time

"violet hill" in my opinion.

it is definitely a grower, but i learned to love it.

"viva la vida" is quite a catchy tune, but not as great as "violet hill", which is a good choice for the first single.

I think the Lovers In Japan quality is very bad and I think the version that was aired on Grey's Anatomy isn't the whole song - so I'm not hearing it!!!

"lovers in japan" surprised me in a good way.

i think the version we got is not even as good as the real version.

i absolutely cannot wait any longer for the album to come out!

'Lovers in Japan' at the moment although 'Viva la Vida' and 'Life in Technicolor' are both up there with the best songs they've written.

Lovers in Japan is absolutely gorgeous (I can't believe I missed the season finale of GA AND Coldplay. :dozey:) But VLV is a winner.

^ aww, i'm glad to hear that! i liked it too! but... not many people are big fans of it I guess.... Haha, this makes me look back onto April 29 when most of the people on here were disgusted at Violet Hill and now it's the one winning in the polls.

Nah, just that the other songs are so good that it makes ASARY look bad :P still a good song though.

Viva la Vida is my personal favorite. I just can't sop listening to it. Of course I have that problem with a lot of Coldplay songs.

VLV is my favorite so far, but LIJ is realllllllly growing on me. :wacky: It brings me nostalgic feelings, somehow...probably because it's reminiscent to old-school Coldplay.

I think Viva la Vida is one of the most perfect songs I have ever heard.

Viva la Vida just has a great melody that I can't get out of my head, I do like all the others though, even a spell a rebel yell. It's really interesting and distinct
