My opinion of porn is thus:

 

We all have certain natural "urges" and "needs" and for those unsatisfied, a leering eye can find it's way to pornography... it is not necessary but it can help "satisfy" those who are unsatisfied.

 

In the context of a relationship, I do not see how it is needed or how anyone would want it. If you are in a relationship, you should be getting your "fill" and that should be all you need. I feel almost like it's cheating to look at porn if your in a relationship. That's a personal deal, I don't think that it actually IS cheating and I don't condemn those who enjoy it.

I think if introduced at an early age it can warp the mind of the person watching it. No, it won't make them a sicko or something. I think it will warp their perception of what sex is... because porn is fake and those who are too young to understand it may perceive that this is acceptable and "the norm." It might also make boys look upon women more as sexual objects than as people.

 

But this is just my opinion. I don't think it's good and I don't think it's bad. But I know I and no one else needs it... and if it becomes an addiction it's no better than drugs or alcohol.

Anyway I agree with some of what you said, I just think it's a person's right to do what they want. Plus in some relationships it might help. If theres a guy who's kind of obsessed with sex, he could get his "fill" with pornography instead of constant nagging at his wife/girlfriend. Or vice versa, I just think that could maybe relieve tension in certain relationships.

yeah. there was some shooting last october, but otherwise it's next to one of the busiest city roads and the neighbourhood seems to be fine. I don't know any neighbours though, but there are lots of other students.

Ha! Well where I'm currently living I'm pretty sure there's no porn store but on one of the main routes into the city centre (and opposite a church lol) there's a porn store with darkened windows etc. At Christmas the shop next door is lit up like the North Star and its hilarious sitting on the bus in traffic watching guys occasionally dart in and out trying not to be seen! Always good fun lol
