We just asked the people standing outside if it was worth waiting in line to get a table. One guy replied " this place has the best french toast ever, made on earth, period!" There has been a thread about this event called: Chris and Bono in Amsterdam today (28 November 2011). Anton Corbijn received Prince Bernard Cultural Funds Prize 2011, and BONO and Chris Martin performed - Bono sang ONE accompanied by the Metropole Orchestra and Chris sang Viva la Vida playing the piano. Bono also read a poem. Anton Corbijn was the director of the alternative version of Viva la Vida and one of the 3 versions of ONE (I think the one where Bono is sitting at a café table smoking a cigarette while singing ONE).
