*sigh* some of the loud-mouthed Radiohead fans at the At Ease Web site can be such jerks/assholes/and so forth. always have to prove their intellect, correctness...gets annoying at times with their pretentiousness. :rolleyes:

you can't really stop what others have to bash about Coldplay or any band; they'll always be a critic that has a differing view on what is 'good' or a narrow-minded individual taking the piss out on anything, and then there's that whole "freedom of speech" reasoning too. only if it gets agressive and seeps into our 'territory', then that'll be the time to step in. otherwise, leave those rude Radiohead fans and their thoughts in their precious, happy little hole. no need to be causing more problems, even if they started it in the first place.

Radiohead isn't music, it's just art. Coldplay is art, and music combined for the first time!!:P (Radiohead wins in the Weird column, however:dozey:) If they spend a lot of time bashing Coldplay, it's a sign of insecurity - maybe they know their #1 spot is in danger of sliding, as Coldplay rises again?? :)

And yes, Radiohead are like the Pussycat Dolls!:lol: (gotta love the sarcasm..)

You can always tell the newbies on At Ease because they're the only ones who bother to come here and create accounts just to slag off Coldplay and their fans anymore (I think most of the old guard at AE have gotten bored...?),lol. (In fact, if you want to spam a forum, they make some of the BEST allies,lol.)

I had to learn this the hard way, by getting pissed off when our board/band got insulted, but ya know what?? it REALLY isn't worth your time and energy. They hate Coldplay. So what? Hang out here and post what you like, good and bad, about CP and ignore the 'schoolyard bullies'.

But again, if you want to go beat up on another forum, the At Ease folks are the PROs, and it's a LOT of fun to work with them!! :wink: (See the Trouble On A Black Forum thread!!):laugh3:

Secondly, Radiohead doesnt play the piano, and thats a very important part of what makes Coldplay, Coldplay. Lastly, the lead singer of radio creeps me out with his eyes and reminds me a of a beat up Clay Aiken.

One of the main reasons I'm such a big Coldplay fan is that I find their music uplifting - something you could never say about Radiohead's sound, whether you're a fan or not.;)

Err...'Radiohead' does play piano. Thom's main instrument these days. And I have the mental capacity to understand lyrics other than "you cut me down a treeeeee and bought it back to meeeeeee", which is a trait the majority of Coldplay fans don't seem to entertain.

While the mods did promise to reopen the original thread once they'd gone through and cleaned it up, I'm not sure of when or if it'll be reopened so for now I thought it would be best to start a new thread for the leaks so we can keep the other threads more on topic. What might it be like? The lyric video is nice but I would have loved to see Coldplay attempt a music video for it. It's not unusual for songs as long as Coloratura to have music videos - Blackstar by David Bowie had a great one - but usually they're larger in scope because of the length of the song. I'd like to think something along the lines of Up&Up's video would work. But or course that's already been done, and very well. Does anyone have any other ideas?
