I don't know what series of events led me there, but I ended up at the official radio head message board. I do like some of their songs; however, I am pissed off by how much Coldplay bashing goes on in that forum. It is like the forum exists solely to bash them.

 

This is why I propose a day of retaliation on their message board. Even if you like Radiohead, I urge you to start some shit for no reason.

 

Just in case you haven't noticed, I'm growing impatient for June 11th and tonight's MTV performance didn't help anything...

People can say whatever the hell they want from the safety of their own forums. I'm sure their are some idiotic opinions flying around, but you or I really have no right to stoop down a level to invade and start bashing radiohead on the r-head forum (like the cradle of filth guys did to us) just because you got your feelings hurt. In the end, why do we care what anyone over on their message board has to say about Coldplay? At this point, none of them are over here bothering us, something I can definitely see happening if we "start some shit."

 

Plus Radiohead is, in my opinion, so amazing that they are incomparable to any other band on the planet. :P

Radiohead isn't my cup of tea, but i'm not going to bother their fans just because they said some stuff about coldplay.

Normally I would agree with you. Lets say they were talking about In Rainbows and someone compared it to VLVODAAHF (Though nothing similar). Then I'd expect some CP bashing....

 

But its going as far as members with names such as "Cockplay A Rush of Blood to the Dickhead".

 

You guys are right, I shouldn't care....it's just angering that there is an anti-coldplay movement among certain groups that is based upon baby back bullshit.

Yeah, some Radiohead fans are jerks. Such jerks that it took me a long time to listen to their stuff for fear of the fans. (Which was dumb because they're my favorite band now. Wish I hadn't waited so long.)

 

But some Radiohead fans are wonderful. Come join us in the world of music for examples. :D And Radiohead have been wonderful with how they connect to their fans, so I would never mess up their board even if I did have a beef with a member. Besides I like to think we have the moral high ground around here. They may come here for a laugh, but we don't generally go there. (The occasional board crash aside...)

 

But if you're really going to be childish enough to let them get under your skin, why not go pick a fight on the at ease board... they love Coldplay noobs... :sneaky::P

as much as i like coldplay, radiohead are the better band. the only coldplay album that even comes close to ok computer or kid a is a rush of blood to the head. but with Viva la vida on the horizon, who knows?
