Ummmm Lollipop was the only bad song on Tha Carter 3...I may be the only person on this forum to think this but I think Tha Carter 3 was MILES better than Viva La Vida.

I guess I'm the only one with a diverse taste in music. I like nearly every genre. I really like Wayne's album, but I really hope Coldplay can do it!

But I can't agree with the last part of your sentence..I don't feel like Coldplay deserve it, Lil Waynes album was just spot on. Coldplay threw together a bunch of strings and rhymes and called it an album.

eh. Weezy's album was more a pick and choose type deal. I never want to listen to the album in whole. I think that's where Coldplay really shines for me. I agree that it wasn't the best Coldplay album, but I definitely don't think they "threw together a bunch of strings and rhymes and called it an album."

How would it be Number 1 right now in the US? Its not even out here yet.

Ā

it was released in the UK the week before... so of course you wouldn't have been on the US charts that week! :P

If it doesn't hit #1 in the US thats understandable. The worst stuff sells best in the States. No offense to the US Coldplayers. But let's face the facts here.

I can say will all confidence though it'll be #1 here in Canada.

Ā

not entirely true... the US market is the hardest market to break for any foreign artist... the mere fact that Coldplay is considered one of those great bands here in America speaks volumes..... i.e. The Beatles!!! (not comparing them to the Beatles... but you get my drift..... they were huge in the UK then they 'broke America'...)

you're kidding me, right??? :stunned:

The Carter 3 was a decent hip-hop cd. It was definately a lot better than I thought it would be, but it isn't nearly on the level of any of Coldplay's music, including Viva la Vida in my opinion.
