Viva la vida is now no.2 in the billboard charts and is expecting to beat Lilwaynes spot in no.1 Fyi. Go to billboard 100 for that and you can see viva la vida at the top:)

As Viva was given away to people who pre-ordered the album on iTunes, it was excluded from the charts, however since it's not getting given away now, it is allowed to chart.

 

how can it be confirmed!

As of the 1st January last year (I think), a song can chart just on downloads from iTunes alone, so even if the CD has long been deleted or if the said track is an album track which got used in an advert or in a tv show, it can chart.
