Sneaking Cameras into Concerts - Ideas?

Featured Replies

I've never tried to sneak one in before. :laugh3: Though you guys have some really creative ideas! ;)

In Germany they're much more sensible about this. As long as you don't have "professional" equipment they don't have a problem with it as long as you don't stand there videoing the entire show.

It's like that sometimes here at smaller venues.. but not at the big places Coldplay plays at :(

take the wrapper thing from a pad and wrap your camera in it...and have other pads surrounding it in your purse...chances are whoever searches your purse won't want to touch it...guy or girl.

I read that in a magazine..haven't tried it.

my sister has done a version of that and it worked like a charm. the security lady saw it (the pads surrounding the camera) , said, "Whoops!" , then left her alone.

I usually just put my camera into a bag within a bag. Or, if it's really cold outside, I put it into the side of my down jacket (maybe wrapped in a mitten or something to make it feel less pointy), and when they pat you down, they don't really feel it because of all the fabric.

They really aren't that picky. I've never had anyone confiscate my camera.

what i do is take a messenger bag' date=' cut a hole in the inner-lining of the bag, and hide the camera in-between the fabric and the lining (behold, a secret compartment!). then i put feminine pads and tampons into the bag to hide the area where the lining was cut.[/quote']

ok ok ok here's what you do....

put the camera into a condom, tie the end of the condom up, swallow the condom

get into the gig. go for a poop. unravel the condom

TA-DA!:bulb:

AHAHAHaHahaHahaHaAHa :laugh3::laugh3::laugh3:

:laugh3::laugh3: well obviously! :PIt's not like the camera is gigantic or anything.

Maybe - but the camera isn't the only thing that could be gigantic.....................

When we went to see them in 2005, I don't even remember being searched...have things changed? My sister was taking pics all through the show, as were most of the people around me!

I've never done this but it MUST work! Put your camera (assuming it's a small point and shoot) in a sock and then just before you enter, go into the bathroom and put it in the crotch of your underwear. It's possible you'd need tape. Even a pretty thorough pat down couldn't detect it unless they seriously violate you. THen when you get in, go into the bathroom and retrieve the goods!

Putting the camera into this spot is the best place. I can't quite remember when and where I did this, but I have a memory of doing so.

However, what I did instead of tape is I wore two boxer shorts. I put the camera in between the two and then went into the bathroom and took it out.

I can't quite remember what venue it was and I've been to a few venues.
