i dunno... to be honest, pop sounds like a sexual innuendo... if you came up to me and asked "can I have a pop?" I'd think you were trying to get in my pants, haha, just goes to show how different a bit of distance makes...

but anyhow, i wouldnt really say pop... i hardly ever because i would just say something along the lines of "can i have that __insertdrinkname__, please?"
