Nosebleed Seats

Featured Replies

Does anyone think it would matter if I purchased a cheaper ticket vs a higher priced one? I don't see any advantage to better (closer) seats other than the fact that you get a better view of the band, but after all, this is COLDPLAY. Opinions please...before the concert is sold out!

I'm a huge fan of several bands (Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, Coldplay, etc.) and will travel long distances to see them live. But if I'm not in the first 15 rows I'd rather just stay home and listen to the CD or watch the DVD. The idea behind the live show for me is to "see" them.

Maybe I'm just being cheap. This is my favorite band in the entire universe after all. Plus, I'll be highly upset if a confetti butterfly doesn't fall on my head:P

sorry but, why are they called nosebleeds?

A nosebleed seat is a tongue in cheek term used to describe seats that are located in the upper tier of an arena. The seats are usually the furthest away from the band as well. The term alludes to the propensity for nasal hemorrhage at high altitudes.

I'm seeing them at Liverpool on the 10th and the o2 on the 16th, Looking forward to Echo more though as it's a lot smaller. People can spout all the rubbish they want about 'Acoustics' but the more intimate the better (for me).

the last few tours i have gotten the expensive seats but decided against it for this tour. with times being tight i decided that the extra money could go to other things.

with only getting the cheapest ticket i could go to two coldplay shows instead of one.

plus i get the feeling that the set will be 90-95 minutes and for what the ticket would be after all the fees, it becomes too much in my mind. i look forward to philly in july eventhough i won't be anywhere near the stage.

methinks the band using these new"magic balls" is going to help fans far off to see things otherwised missed.....hoping anyway, although my 2 sets of tix are both awesomely close.

Try to get the best possible seats. Many great ones won't even be available, so just buy as soon as you can and accept what you get. That's what I did, and Im far but not too far.;)
