Mark, why do you have to put everything down that you don't like?

I don't care if you hate Tottenham and you can post whatever you want about them, but you always ruin other threads about things if it's something you deem unworthy. You just come across such a ridiculous know-it-all.....it's tiresome.

I don't like to be mean but those months when you were away from this board were brilliant...people could actually have a conversation without being interjected with stupid little 'jokes' and 'i know best' statements.

Actually, if you study Kimchi's comments carefully, you'll see that's exactly how he has been acting all this time.

Incredibly pompous, offensive and ridiculously accusatory.;)

Don't turn things around, I was talking about YOU and you can't take it.

And I'm talking about HIM, and YOU can't accept it.;)

Dude, you're only embarrassing yourself with your continued campaign.

I am quite prepared to ignore you, if you will do the same. I had you on block and made no comments to you after you posted that you didn't have anything more to say to me - that would be fine by me.

But you immediately started following me around the forum, making further derogatory remarks after my posts. That's harassment, and I won't let someone post unfounded comments such as those above go unchecked, so sadly for me back off block you had to come.

I'd like you to drop this and let us both go about our business. If you won't do that, though, I'm quite resigned to continue responding to you for however long you want to keep this up.

You really should read that link about baiting and think of the forum. Your points about hating me are well made enough now without ruining any more threads.

I have as much right to comment on posts made on here as anyone. If you want to waste your time trying to pick fights all the time, then that's your problem.

You seem to have serious paranoid "victim" issues which need to be addressed.

I don't think anyone has ever said they "hate" you. It's all in your head.

You appear to take things way too seriously. It's scary!:stunned:

I would have said all the things I said, regarding you, before Kimchi started posting a few months ago. No one on this forum stands up to you and your stupid little comments. Everyone just puts up with them.

and I have actually met him in real life, at both the Coldplay concerts two weeks ago, so I know that he is a normal, polite, nice and civil person. and he is only trying to make sense of you in his posts. but that's a hopeless case.

This is all so pathetic but I guess that's how it is. having to deal with your derogatory, negative posts that put people or subjects down everywhere on this site. *shakes head*

'Hate' or whatever - you clearly have something against me. You've made that clear. Now please drop this, and stop following me around the forum posting derogatory comments ( and just look at the list on this page alone!)

You are trolling, it's clear. And no doubt you feel a need to have the last word, so that's the last I'll post on here about this now, I'll leave you firing your poisonous comments into the ether.

Good day to you.

There are thankfully quite a few people on here who have a sense of humour and don't take things too seriously, otherwise it would be extremely dull.;)

Not true. He's actually been going around making ridiculous, unfounded accusations all the time.;)

Opinions on topics vary. People need to get used to that and stop ranting off all the time.

If you're only interested in fawning and mutual backslapping, try MSN.;)

The only thing I have against you is your pathetic name-calling and false accusations.;)

Case in point.;)

If you can't take opinions which differ from your own, a public board quite clearly isn't the place for you.;)

You are so, so boring. It's always the 'sense of humour' comeback isn't it. Your sense of humour is very different from anybody I've ever met, online or in real life. You must be blind if you can't see that the vast, vast majority of people on this site find you TEDIOUS.

and......the funny thing is..... YOUR POSTS AREN'T FUNNY! :laugh3:

anyway...... this is getting boring........I'll leave you with your winking and rolling eyes smilies.

A biased viewpoint which is completely erroneous. I can assure you there are a lot of people in "my camp", and there always have been.

As I've said, there are lots of people who disagree. Check who won "funniest poster" the last two years.:smug:

It is arrogant in the extreme to suggest you speak for "everyone", when you most definitely don't.

You still don't get it, even after all this time. Pity.;)

Mark, could you keep out this thread if you have nothing constructive to say.

There is nothing wrong with winning the Carling Cup, it might rank as the 5th highest cup an English Premiership team could win (Premiership - Champs League - FA cup - Uefa Cup - League Cup - Community Shield), but it's still a cup (which is 1 more cup than Arsenal, Liverpool & Chelsea put together from last season).

And the difference between Spurs and Newcastle is that the fans of Spurs know they can't challenge for the title, where Newcastle fans think their team can win the title.

No team is above criticism. If somebody creates a public thread they should be prepared for differing viewpoints. The Spurs fans I've come across definitely think they should be in the CL, which is totally absurd.;)

Not really, if Everton could make it into the champion's league (and then making a fast exit), anybody could make the champs league

I reckon that was a one-off, and as far as I know, most Everton fans didn't think they had some sort of diving right to be in it.

Unlikely to happen again, as the big four are too far ahead of the rest.;)

That is true, the big 3 plus Liverpool are in another league when it comes to spending money.

Although next year should be fun when 3rd place will mean automatic entry into the champs league.

Good thing we have the cops to keep control:bobby::policeman:

oh and Gizmo too:ears:

Be Careful Where You Stand

:policeman::policeman:

They already arrested these troublemakers:

:elvis::love::ears::devil::whip:

How did Gizmo get arrested?

Because they have arrested him under anti-terror laws which allow them to lock him up for 42 days without charge :P

I don't gamble but was looking at the odds today for next season, and they're interesting.

Spurs finishing fifth next season seems like the one bet on teams outside the 'four' the bookies have really gone to lengths to protect (excluding relegation, obviously).

Gets me excited, but then I'm a Spurs fan and know how these things usually finish. And what's the point in finishing fifth rather than sixth? Nothing! So I'll take a good cup run (any cup - even losing a Carling Cup final would give us excitement along the way) and qualifying for Europe again as another successful season :)

I hope people didn't waste too much money betting on Spurs to win anything this season.

Now their two best players are on their way, they'll be lucky if they even stay up!!:laugh3:

Well, it's certainly been an interesting week for us Spuds!!

Four quality signings to go along with the new defence Ramos brought in in Jan but hasn't yet integrated, and all the money recouped through getting rid of some dead wood (though I'm sorry to see Steed leave).

Glad to see Robbie go, much as he (belatedly) performed for us these last three seasons - if the hearts not there then best to ship him on, and what a price - amazing!! Dos Santos looks like being at least half the player already, at a fifth of what mad Rafa paid for Keano (and half a generation younger!) It's good we didn't pay over the odds for Arshavin in the end either - finally some sense comes to transfers at Spurs, after the ridiculous amounts paid for Bent and Kaboul (hopefully our last big mistakes).

Saying that, Bent's looking very good in pre-season, and far better than Berbatov who only Man Utd seem to want (though Barca may come in now). Do hope we are shot of him soon, there's a real energy and expectation around pre-season that I haven't seen since the late eighties, and he's the only one who's out of sorts.

Roll on the new season!! :)

  • 2 weeks later...

A very good result today, highly encouraging, beating the Italian cup holders and league runners up Roma 5-0 at the Lane :)

It was only a friendly, and means absolutely nothing for the forthcoming season, but as I said, it's highly encouraging, and for a number of reasons.

I didn't see the first half (it took me till the second half to realise someone was streaming it on the web for free) and you could say Roma were tired and not as motivated as we are, but it's like saying would Chelsea be happy losing by that margin to a foreign side who placed mid-table next season. No they would not!

An excellent performance from Bentley and two goals on his home debut. Bent continued to impress (Robbie who? :laugh3:) with his twelfth in the last six games (I think). Dos Santos was lively, Jenas looked much more solid and comfortable in the new beefed-up midfield, and Lennon was impressive from the bench, with license to roam from wing to wing and giving the defenders on both flanks a torrid time.

Roma had one sent off in pure frustration at Spurs' display, and Lennon's cameo in particular, and another would have gone if this was a competitive fixture of any kind.

Didn't see Modric play but he must have played his part in this stuffing. It was also nice to see Assou Ekotto play for once, and he looked solid, as did Gomes in goal. Bale returned well from his season-ending injury of last term, Gunther looked sharp, and even china Ledley had a run-out.

It looks like Corluka's coming in (great defender!) as well as one or two more (Arshavin plus Silva or Villa?) depending on whether Berba does make the move or not (and personally I hope he goes, great player that he is) so we'll have a very good, but radically different squad for the new season, looking very promising indeed for the future, but probably needing time to gel this year.

After today, though, I'm confident for the first time we have a great chance to qualify for Europe via the league :)

In Juande we trust!! :D
