Tonsu
It's no surprise it's a little bit wrong for you - Chris sings '...there must be something more'!! 10/10 for me - and I hope it will be for you too, now, Georgia :) By the way, 42 is absolutely incredible live!! chuck kottke
I hear John Lennon's piano riff's in 42.. from Imagine. I'll be the ghost in time, for the web catches all drifting bits in it's sticky lines

ColdplayBirdsFly
42.... Imagine I hear John Lennon's piano riff's in 42.. from Imagine. I'll be the ghost in time, for the web catches all drifting bits in it's sticky lines AH! That was EXACTLY my thought when I first heard 42! :shocked2: Of course, when i actually played the two songs on the piano I realized they're different notes, but it's the same transition. chuck kottke
:laugh3:Love your location! Piano players rule!:bandana: When they transition to that tango, it reminded me a bit of Wings & McCartney - Band on the Run?
ColdplayBirdsFly
42!!! WOO! ^ Hahaha, Shh! Please don't tell the boys where I am.....:sneaky: Bwahaha! Woo! Yeah us piano players rock! Wow, seriously ....someone the other day heard me playing 42 and she said "hmm, that kind of sounds like Band on the Run". I listened to both and the similarity is clear, they both have 3 seemingly separate parts combined to make one song. There are just too many coincedences in this world..... *cough, cough* :shocked2:
ColdplayBirdsFly
42!!! WOO! oop, double post. might as well use it though. Anyway, 42 is appearing everywhere! House numbers, phone numbers, peoples' ages, I know it's probably a psychological thing... :) There's even a book about a guy who keeps seeing the #

ColdplayBirdsFly
42 ^ Some say it might be a tip of the hat to the novel "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" and Chris once said that to be a great band, you need a song title that's just a number. http://wiki.coldplaying.com/index.php/42 And the #42 does seem to be appearing more frequently for me than most numbers... today for some reason. Maybe it's like Coldplay's b-side 1.36 and I'd freak out when I looked at the clock it was 1:36! Anyway, this was what i saw when i checked my email today. :stunned: Maybe when someone becomes an extremely obsessed Coldplay fan, they start seeing these numbers everywhere ;)
