had this really weird dream last night.

one of my friends was gonna get married in new york and i was attending the wedding. the ticket to new york was onl €39.00 :stunned:

 

however, i only thought about going shopping at forever 21. this is how pathetic i am. haha. i didn't even feel a slight feeling of happiness for my friend, all i could think of was forever 21. :dozey:

as much as i love heels, i bought my first pair of sneakers in a long time on friday. :laugh3:

i needed comfy shoes that aren't ballet flats and i really wanted to get these from puma a while ago.

it was quite funny actually. i bought them at a puma store and the guy gave me 2 pairs of socks for free and an additional 20% discount. wooooh! lucky me. :P and they're amazingly comfortable.

sounds familiar to me! :D hahaha. i always do sports wearing my converse although i shouldn't be doing that considering the fact we're not allowed to wear the shoes we walk around in all day our in PE class.

i'm not a huge fan of bangs personally, but i think they work very well on some people. the problem that i see is that you don't know whether you're a bangs person until you get them, and then if they look like crap you're stuck with them :P. i had them for years (though when i was a kid) and i haaaated them. especially when you cut them, if you cut them even a centimeter too short, you end up looking like caesar :lol:.

 

if you'd think they'd work on you, though, i'd say go for it! :D

and yeah, bangs that were cut too short look horrible! i'm totally with you because i remember that one morning when i was a kiddo and my dad was about to drive me to kindergarten and he just thought my hair got too long. he ended up cutting a fringe. like, 2 minutes before kindergarten.

man, i'm still traumatised.

a long time ago, in november, i was lusting after a pair of ann taylor black leather riding boots, which i got for my birthday. basically, they're my favorite things ever (i tried to go back and find my original post of them, and i found it, but the pictures are just Xs). anyway, they also came in a brown leather/suede mix, but at the time they were too expensive. by the time they were marked down, they didn't have my size anymore (i need extended calf :rolleyes:). but today, my mom called me from the store (she works at ann taylor), and said some lady was RETURNING the brown boots in my size and calf width! and the best part? they were no longer $300. they were $2.33 :freak:. so, she also bought me another pair of brown suede boots at the same price, but they have a big heel that i'd have to get used to :P.

 

anyway, i know that was long, but i'm just quite happy that i bought two pairs of boots that were originally $300 each for a total of $4.66. i had to share :P.

 

i know it's late and no one cares anymore, but i finally took pictures today :P

 

 

 

the first pair is definitely more my style (like i say, i have them in black and LOVE them), but this is a bad picture of them...they're like slumping over a bit and it makes them look frumpy :P. they're more elegant in real life, i swear! the second pair...well, i like them, but i won't be able to walk in them, and i don't own anything to wear them with :P

 

the second pair made me think of grace for a moment, but since i'm so heels-ignorant, i have no idea if you'd actually like them/wear them, grace :P. i think high-heeled shoes in general now just make me think of you :lol:.

Why not? Go for it. =) Just make sure that you get bangs that work on you, cause not everyone looks great with full bangs. How about sideswept bangs? They seem to look pretty good on a lot of girls. I have sideswept bangs and I love them. lol. Sometimes bangs can get in your eyes and stuff, but other than that, I don't really have problems with them. Oh, and make sure that when you trim them, don't trim them too short, cause then they just look horrible.
