Anaheim, CA???

Featured Replies

The tour shirt has Anaheim, CA listed in between Salt Lake City and Phoenix... however, there has been no released date out yet. WHat are your thoughts on this? Is it possible that a show is in the works and they are working out a date, and are waiting to announce it? I would love to see them here again in southern california. Since the LA Forum show I've thought of nothing but how incredibly awesome it was and how I need to see them again. Hopefully up closer.

So far, there's been slight rumors about it. If the Anaheim gig (or GIGS, like during the last tour) happens, then it would fall around Thanksgiving time.

Hopefully a few of my friends will get me more updates about it (since they've got closer connections around the media biz).

alright. awesome. Im going to keep checking for tickets going on sale. Does anybody know the best way to get great tickets? at the LA show i used ticketmaster online and I was way in the nosebleeds. Is it better to try and get tickets at the venues box office? Or at ticketmaster outlets?

If Coldplay do end up playing in Anahiem I'm going for sure!!! :D

I did see that on the shirts... I know that if they play there, I will be going again! Hopefully I will be one of those "true fans" :-)

For a band like Coldplay, Anaheim = Honda Center (formerly Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim).

What's highly unlikely but would be amazing is if instead of 1 huge Honda Center show they'd play a 5-night stand at the House of Blues in Anaheim. Probably about the same number of people would get to go, if not more. Way smaller venue, much more intimate.

Obviously, this wouldn't fit their schedule, but one can only hope right?

House of Blues...Hmmm... Intimacy, is right... the only thing about that, is that Disney people might end up with first dibs, and thats never cool. But boy it would be amazing!

There is no better way to get the best seats. You luck out either way at the box office or ticketmaster. You can equally lose out at the box office.

Most box offices-for the popular sell-out events, will only have maybe 50-150 tickets available. Either the line is determined by order or most often each person gets a random ticket/wristband with a number. If you draw a bad number you can find the gig is sold out by the time you get to the front of the line.

Ticketmaster does allow you to search many times before you buy. But nevertheless the best tickets never usually make general sale-they are already allocated to promoters/sponsors/band etc. Also ticketmaster and coldplay have been auctioning off the premium seats on ticketmaster. So that reduces the chances even more.
