Because of the episode where Will was hypnotized to act like a kid at the sound of a bell....I watched too much tv as a kid.

My old French teacher used to ring a bell to get our attention. When she first did it, everyone just stopped and stared, ahaha. It must have been weird for her to have 20+ kids looking at her like. :inquisitive:

Oh! And the spanish teacher in the room next to us uses a bell and screams, "SILENCIOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

 

So, long story short when I think of bells, I think of order and discipline. :stunned:

to me, it's a symbol of survival and freedom.

Well, it is Philadelphia where you live, so that seems only natural!:) Bells were always used for dinner on the farm - to call in the family, especially if they were out in the field..
