I work in a call centre, so no mobile phones allowed on the floor.

we're allowed on the internet in between calls

I came on here for about two minutes today in work, to see if anyone had any calls, and I got really paranoid that there was some kind of computer spy in operation and so logged off immediately and deleted the history :lol:

So what's going on, has anybody won or what??

I didn't hear anything on Thursday so gave up hope. Friday lunchtime I went out and ten minutes later there was a missed call from a Witheld Number.

 

I guess I'll never know if it was the Beeb or not... :(

I phoned up on Friday night and was told I could either phone Radio 2 (which I'd already done - they were as useful as an inflatable banana in a swordfight) or call back today during the day when somebody might be able to help me. I was going to but now I feel like even the Beeb would have been able to organise contacting all the winners by now, and it'll just be wasting more time...:\

Kimchi, they never contacted me before when i'd won for the BBC2 concert! I had to call up to find out because apparently there was a flag on my address when they were about to send them out.

What do you mean about "a flag" ?

A flag on their system to say that my address didn't exist apparently! To this day I still don't understand, but the BBC never bothered to call or email, it was only when I phoned up 2 days before that I found out that I had registered in time and had 2 tickets. I only phoned up that day though because a few others on here who had got tickets had posted what time they had registered and I knew I'd registered earlier than all of them. I had a feeling... I don't have it this time!

my work's computer history automatically deletes at the end of every day anyway. nothing stays on your favourites list. no passwords are remembered. its very useful :D

I got a withheld phone call at 9.45.... I answered it, and there was some background noise, not dissimilar to a call centre...I said 'hello?' and then they hung up on me!!!!

 

Hope it wasn't the BBC....oh well. I guess it was probably some annoying company or someone pranking me :cry: :veryangry:
