I'm not a big cheese person, but I do eat more than cheddar! I eat American cheese.(and mozzarella, cream cheese, swiss, goat, provolone, ooh this Argentine cheese that's soft, but don't know the name in English, oh I love muenster, and I'm sure there ar more I just can't think of right now ).

Hi Julie...I read you said no party/opportunity to see your crush. Back you go back to school on Monday?

well i haven't updated you much those days... the lastest i can remember is when i told you about the coldplay moments at the modern arts museum.

there wasn't much to say about those last days... i wrote a bit, we went for a walk yesterday and we saw a small horse :nice:

today my cousin has visited us again :D he had adviced me to visit Olmedo (is a town near Valladolid city, which has a Castle, is known for literature, and has some Mudejar buildings). :smug: i hope i can go there soon. (in fact is one of the towns i wanted to visit, like Urueña and Peñafiel).

Btw today we had an Hail here :worried: We were lucky that the ice that falled at my grandma's were tiny, but my cousin had not good luck, the ice broke his car glass :stunned:

When do you guys finish school for the year??? You and he better be a couple by that time!:wink3:

Ari...HI!!<waves>

I love your updates, it makes me wanna go visit Spain:D(my bff went there are her celebration trip after finishing law school, she absolutely loved it! Since then Spain is on my list of places to visit)

Haha, I better hurry up.

Would it be really weird if I asked him out? :stunned:

Edit: I think we have last school day some time in last of May month.

Would it be really weird if I asked him out? :stunned:

If you are brave enough to do it, you should!!! Better than waiting around and letting an opportunity go by...

*waves*

Thanks, i'd like i could update with pictures (i've taken some pics and vids :p) but my connection is not good to can do that. :\ I hope i can visit those 3 castles that i've mentioned here: i'll be here yet like 4 more days. :)

Btw i've seen two curious documentals today, one was about Sevilla city (i've been there and visited the Cathedral two years ago), and they mainly talked about Easter.

and later we saw another documental that talked about "The Spanish Islands", and it was about Balearic and Canary Islands. (true story, my dad went to look for the "Spanish Islands" on a map, he thought they would talk about another Islands somewhere near Caribean  )

So how are you doing girls? :nice:

Having a nice Easter? Do you do something special in those days?

-Self note: Cook some Torrijas again.

I have a great Easter holiday. :nice:I'm going to party with some friends tomorrow. :drunk:

What about you, Ari and Cooky?

@Cooky - Nah, I don't think I'm brave enough. Well, definetly not yet. :\

what are Torrijas??? and my bff went to Sevilla, she loooovvvved it.

oh and Carla, you two would also get along, 'cause she loves cheese! Her fiance went to Paris for work, and all she wanted as a "souvenir" was for him to bring back some cheese LOL.

@ Noelia:

It seems is called French Toast on other in english culture.

Is a slice of bread, you fry it, then put it on milk or wine and finally put some honey or sugar on it.

there are some variants here, depending on the areas, but that is how i do it. ;) (i also add some cinamon).

@ Julie:

Good to hear yours are good. Have fun in the party. :drunk:

mine's ok, i've been talking about it updating those previous days. :) Here there is the tradition of procesiones, but i don't like the ones of my hometown :embarrased: i prefer the ones of my mom's hometown.

Btw who are you talking about? :uhoh:

ohh french toast...I don't think I've had that in years...but so yummy.(except the cinnamon part--random Cooky fact: she hates cinammon!) I can't remember how we say that in Spanish!:shocked2: It's not "tostadas francesas" LOL that's just weird.

and I don't have any exciting plans for Easter. This year I've been totally out of the loop with Easter-related stuff for some reason. Im trying to make plans w/ a friend tomorrow, but our schedules are always clashing, and Sunday spending the day with my parents at their friend's house. Family stuff.

(wow you can always tell when my coffee has kicked in by how often & how long I post:blush:)

hmmmm I;ll have some french toast :wacky:

and this is my random comment about cheese

I eat gouda most of the times, I only eat cheddar when I go to Subway

I also eat one that it's more "natural" but I don't know the name in english

Lore, what is it called, maybe I know it?

and gouda....why can't I think of the taste right now...:inquisitive:...next time I go to supermarket I will get some to try:smiley:. I usually have cheese in the house for snacking on, and I have to admit it's ususally cheddar:blush:
