Proskpects March/Song Album Uniforms?

Featured Replies

When they release prospects march ep, when they tour next summer, do you think they might ditch their costumes and return to something more like AROBTTH. jeans and a shirt. i kind of like that better than these costumes. i know everyone loves these costumes because it goes with the album, but i think it should be more rock and roll type clothing instead of a pop group. i hpe they do. i mean they end up taking off all that stuff their wearing by the middle of the concert.

mmm... I can't vote on this one. The Viva look goes with the album, it makes them feel good to have special clothes for the tour. They designed them more or less themselves, like painting the covers and so, it's part of the concept.

So what I mean is maybe they come up with another idea that goes with the next album and I am sure I will love it as well.

So maybe neither uniform nor costume just an image to play with.

I don't care for the costume idea in general, so I voted away with them.

They felt a bit more organic even when they were all in black, as the clothes were at least normal. But I have to say that if costumes are what it takes for them to feel comfortable right now than I'm fine with it, seeing as their so damn talented. That is as long as the outfits don't get any weirder from here on out.

They'll ditch them I think. The costumes go with the album cover.

They'll replace them though, with something new :)

I thought they might have been a mistake at first, but quickly grew to love them after seeing them in the flesh at Brixton and the BBC gigs. They just seem so part of the sublime overall package now, and obviously a very strong statement of intent from the band, united as one again after the tribulations of the X&Y tour.

I can't see them ditching them before the next album - they'll certainly be around for the EP I should think as it's part of the Viva sessions and continues some of the major themes.

And I hate to say it, but wouldn't ditching them without replacement seem like a retrograde step - a symbolic undoing of all the positivity, creativity and togetherness we have now? Quite hoinestly I think by the time they do that, it'll mean they're ready for another extended break from touring and recording :(

It really depends on how the next album is!

But I really don't mind, as long as the songs are great and they still have the same humour as before I'll be satisfied!

i just want them to go back to the "normal" coldplay. weird album covers and the coldplay font. and music that isnt already on a cd all you have to do is press play.

I don't know.I like the colors of their current outfits so I guess it would be good if they kept them or just changed it a little bit.

well put :flutterby:

I think it's great that they have the uniforms - I like that they put that much thought in to the whole theme.

From a girlie point of view... Guy looks hotter than ever! Either way,

KEEP THE UNIFORMS!
