EDIT: Sept 23rd 2008

hey guys, I just checked this video on youtube and found out that it was taken down. wtf

it says "This video is no longer availabe due to copyright cliam by ITN"

who is ITN? I tried searching but couldn't find anything other than this: http://www.youtube.com/itnmusic

can they make this claim?

thanks

Hello fellow coldplay fans. This is my first post. :)

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8s5nz9ul28U]YouTube - ColdPlay Viva la Vida - Edited Music Video[/ame]

what do you guys think?

I made this yesterday. I combined both versions of the music video into one, because I thought they were both great and really well done.

enjoy!

Edit: High Quality version:

You can watch in HQ on YouTube, y'know.

And yes, they can do that if a company thinks that copyrighted material is being used against copyright infringement laws. Most likely under the "only for private viewing" rule, even though it's a music video

the youtube HQ is a bit out of sync in some place, just a tad

and also, the claim for copyright was made by ITN music they're just on youtube. Since they aren't the copyright holder of this video either, they can't claim for copyright. only Parlophone or EMI can file a legal copyright claim for this video.

And I'm guessing ITN didn't personaly file this claim, youtube just used the "content matching" software or script to match the videos.

Yeah... doesn't make sense.
