August 23, 200916 yr Daniel! :nice: I'm on my midterm break :D How Fast eh! :) So you will return home?
August 23, 200916 yr I am also a Muslim :D! People who have diabetes can't either fast, or if you're on a for example taking a plane to another country you're allowed to eat. I'm not really sure about the diabetics part (my dad has it and he's still fasting), but maybe what CPRani meant is that when you're travelling more than around 92km or so (I'm not sure about the exact minimum distance), you are not obligated to fast. You have to however, to fast for the exact amount of days that you did not fast during Ramadhan after the month has finished before the next Ramadhan comes. I'm not sure if I'm making any sense :P

So this will make travelling more convenient ;)

I'm not sure if I'm making any sense :P I think it's alright if diabetic people wants to fast as long as it doesn't harm them. My sister is a kidney failure patient (she needs to maintain the amount of fluid in her body), she can't fast. :D About the distance, I'm pretty sure it is >92 km... I still remember the term that I learned at school a few years ago - 2 marhalahs.
